[SPOILERS] The Subjuggulator's Mirthful Messiahs (Kuro, Gamzee of Balsegraphs!)

Fear and especially the chance of conversion to Wraith are definately main problems with Spectre. spam those warriors and hope that it dies or that some of your units can resist fear and kill it.

City 1E of the mana node in the north is very good as long as you're Creative. After founding you could send the adept there and use the puppets to Blaze while adept returns to city every other turn to keep that city inspired. After turning the jungle in fire there you could use adept and puppets to keep 2 cities inspired simultaneously assuming you've road connection.

How many land tiles there are in this map? Can you tell if others are also using inspire?

I dunno how to check for Inspiration.

1653 land tiles.

1E is a very sick locale.

What are the odds a Warrior won't flee a Spectre when attacking? They always seem to do it for me, I can't recall when they didn't...

You could conclude inspiration from the demographics and GNP values.

This is a big map. There will be lot of barbs wondering around and you've lot of room for expansion.

Concerning Blaze it puts smoke in the tile. It might take a while before it catches a fire and then takes a while before fire goes out and this might spread fire to surrounding tiles. Lot of Randomness so getting BW early is not that bad idea. This also means that you would really like to get those jungles on fire as soon as possible so that it has time to spread and transform to burnt forest.

I also noticed when finding more info that there is a small chance that smokes generates Mistform. Is this true and does anybody know the chances of this happening?

It gets much easier to remember his spelling when you realize that it's Charles, backward. smile.

Growing to size 2 and building warriors sound good to me. I am afraid I don't know how to test for the fear odds. You could do it the hard way and make a Worldbuilder file where you create 50 or so warriors and send them to attack a spectre, if you can deal with the tedium.

If the spectre heads away from us, it would be tempting to get a worker out soon after the first or second warrior, if not we'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

I think I'm going to build to two or three warriors anyway. This'll probably let us hit working the Regeants/Wines/Rice all at once for a while and provides nice early game security. Then maybe build up to 3/4 and a Settler? (Always very nervous with escorts in FFH, especially since the Eyes scouted a Griffon)

I might try the WB thing. Never actually had a Spectre not fear them, though.

Test 1:
2 Warriors too feared
2 Warriors attack(Spectre died, test reset)

Test 2:
4 Warriors too afraid
2 Warriors attack(Spectre died, test reset)

Test 3:
2 Warriors attack(It died!)

Test 4:
2 Warriors attack(Spectre dead)

Test 5:
2 Warriors attack(Jeez, I'm on a roll)

Test 6:
2 Warriors attack(Welp. Did I load the RNG by accident?)

Test 7:
2 Warriors attack(Welp)

Test 8:
3 Warriors afraid
1 Warrrior attacks(It won! Whoa!)

Test 9:
2 Warriors attack(I keep killing it)

Test 10:
2 Warriors attack(Um.)

...Umm...

I think I got really lucky in my test. Will probably need to redo. Or Spectre have really low fear odds. All Tests done with a CII, Level 3 Spectre.

Played the turn. Spectre hasn't moved, but is full health now. Farm finished on Rice and cap grew EOT. No other developements.

I think if you can squeeze a worker somewhere in there, a farm on the rice would speed up things significantly. But perhaps this is so obvious you left it out?

Sorry, I guess I forgot to mention(I thought I did...), I went Worker first: It's farming the Rice(I forget if it's done or 1T/2T from completion). Then it's going to go for the Regeants, then finally the Wines, then farm the Banana, then farm other stuff. Sorry, I'll make sure to put up a solid, real report when the next turn comes in. ^.^
