Hi All,

After lurking on and off here for many a year, and consistantly reading Sulla's site to somehow try and improve my civ play, I have finally decided to take the plunge and attempt a RB adventure. yikes

I had my BTS game since release, but having tried it once with all the new items, I freaked out and went back to Warlords and have played this off and on until now.

I know I am setting myself up for a fall here bang, but could I just check that if I install the latest BTS patch v3.19 fom the Firaxis website, this is inline with what everyone else is using and does not invalidate me from trying the new and upcoming scenarios? The last message about version was Sulla's dated on this thread back in 2004, so i'm expecting 3.19 to be ok but thought i had better check first.

3.19 is correct. You can also download it from inside the MP lobby if you have a gamespy account and you're lucky smile

A technical (well not very) question: How do I add "normal" smileys in my posts? I can only find all these fancy ones: bangbangheadjivealrightlol:neenernee

Guys, sorry for asking yet another noob question, but do I need to alter my game settings or install a mod that enables turn timers and autosave settings etc?huh I'm not really into the techy side of things. I just tend to load the game and try to play it. I've seen loads of Mods on Civfanatics, and I have seen the webpage here with accepted mods on, but I have to admit it goes way over my head. I now have the latest patch 3.19 for BTS and want to ensure I don't fall foul of any requirements prior to starting a RB epic/adventure.
