I would be very surprised if no one would make that connection.
probably not, you're right, but I think you were just killed for the same reason as Zak - good village play and pretty much cleared village status. wolves have to eliminate people that are villagers and can't be lynched, or else village finds them by process of elimination.

I still think Ichabod is scum. And after his most recent posts, I'm thinking Rowain is scum, too.
Post 1396 is very telling. Ichabod was not fully caught up, but felt an urgent need to write 500 words on why Rowain is scummy, despite really acting like a villager? Classic scum on scum post.
He even closes with saying that he's waiting to see if Rowain has answered the accusations. What's so urgent about intervening on his behalf, if he hasn't even seen his defense yet?
If you know what I mean.

huh. Well you may be right about Ichabod, although I'm not yet convinced Rowain is scum. I never understood the need to post "even though I'm not caught up." I can catch up 20 pages in 30 minutes or less if I don't analyze it too carefully, then go back and reread to pay careful attention later. Its not like Ichabod's been gone for 3 days and fell way behind.

Rowain has been extremely aggressive ever since he started drawing heat. That also matches his defense strategy in the crossover madness game, where he was scum, but managed to cling on for a win just by dodging every accusation with an aggressive non-response.
It's not that he's not usually aggressive as a villager. But he is deliberately playing up his persecution complex, here. You can tell he isn't really trying to hunt, either.

Really, Lewwyn?
First you prefer Bigger over Thestick, and now you prefer Catwalk over Ichabod and Rowain?

he's been on catwalk's case since day 1, nothing new. It actually feels like typical Lewwyn, finally coming out of his shell on day 3, strategically lurking to avoid night kills on day 1 and 2 as always. Of course if he hasn't caught a wolf by day 5-6 I'd be ready to string him up. But atm his case against catwalk seems pretty strong.
You're herding me from even from the lurker's lounge, though, starting to come around on Rowain, too.

this made me lol. its a little wolf-defensive, I think. But also funny and true, I think. (of most lurker's who aren't playing, not just Gaspar).

It does give me a little pause but I'm still convinced that its a shot worth taking. With me seemingly alone on novice suspicion, I'd gladly take catwalk as my second favourite.
Hedge hedge hedge hedge.

I think I even said this on Day 2. As a villager falsely accused it is not simply enough to refute accusations but to make a positive case for someone else. It's hard. But not being willing to do the work is a huge tell IMO.
Since we're in the lurker thread I can make wild and outrageous guesses right?
Ichabod, Rowain, Tasunke.

Hunch.
Normally Tasunke is the king of spam, but that's not what we've seen here. Instead we've seen a form a Cathago Delanda Est combined with a series of "safe" pushes (Sareln the Lurker, Catwalk the Insane [wasn't he joining catwalk in just asking questions of Mattimeo too! ]). Even when he does something that goes out on a limb, Novice, he does it alone. So everyone is just inclined to write him off.
It's admirably done.
