Yeah, just end it if people are not having fun.

bah. i say the game must go on but only because i want to hear the wailing and knashing of teeth.
Listen. some of the duechebaggery seen here pales in comparison to former games. but maybe that's easy for me to say as I'm dead and not emotionally invested anymore.
i still think the masq game is a good idea. maybe just some execution problems and it can be tried again?

I stopped following for reasons mentioned earlier but I'd basically say if nobody's having fun, end the game.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

We are a little surprised at the apparent level of ill-feeling, it doesn't seem that terrible in thread, apart from the slanging match the other day. We cannot comment on potential rules problems.
Brick, have you received bad vibes from both sides, or just the village? If the wolves are having a really good time in their thread, it would seem a little harsh to end the game based on what we have seen publicly. If the PMs are showing that a lot of people are genuinely unhappy though, then we would agree that it should be ended.

Both sides, and most all of the heavy stuff has been in QTs or PMs which is why you havent seen it.

Well then, unless you receive multiple requests for the game to go on, I'd probably end it.
I don't really get it. I think the masquerade idea was great, and John Gabriel's GIFT shouldn't really apply, because a lot of people's identities are fairly clear anyway, and if they're not yet then they will be in the end. Sad.
There's been a lot of games in quick succession, maybe people are burned out for a bit.

What does 'meta clear' mean?

"The Narrator would have to have been an idiot to give a wolf this power (at least since we know A, B, and C)" or "A wolf would never have made this play given X, Y, and Z"

No knock on the setup, just not conducive to lurking. Yes, this was a problem the first 24 hours, then I started having functioning mental images of the various players. I wouldn't want to play this variant with much more than 20 players though.

I thought it was a fun game, the pause came as a surprise to me. Meta biting scum, if it did, sucks for them. But town can't be sure that it did.
I found it amusing how the same interaction patterns emerged even though players were anonymous. I think it shows that the patterns are caused by personalities and not names. Of course for the players some identities became quickly obvious. The ones I'm pretty sure about:
Scarlet John:
Widow Edith:
Rob the Filch:
Fat Rose:
Lady Elizabeth
Know-Nothing Jon:
And some educated guesses:
Friar Andrew:
Young Will:
I didn't spend any energy on figuring out who was who, I don't think anybody did. It just became obvious over time (or immediately).
Nobody here successfully guessed my identity, btw.
