I crashed once (was my fault, I opened the save with RtR 2.0.7.1) but finally managed to access the game. It's rolling !
[TECH] PB23 IT and Tech issues thread

Goes without saying, I hope, but everyone check your starting techs to make sure I didn't make a mistake with those.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Actually, according to the mod page it should be Agriculture / "Minging" which is presumably some sort of judgement on attractiveness of the civ....
Oh, and we're OK for techs. (November 5th, 2014, 20:21)Grimace Wrote: Houston, we have a problem. Korea should be Agriculture/Mining... OK, there's the reload. And here's how it happened. I had the 2.0.7.2 mod loaded incorrectly. I had to grab it for this game, made an error extracting it and didn't realize the mod wasn't correctly loading. That may have something to do with the other trouble we had. ![]() So the updated techs for Korea didn't make it even though I checked everything against the Civilopedia. Fail. Caledorn, that'll be a reload to the start, everyone play the turn the same as before. Thanks, and oops. Edit: And Cal if you can edit that tech for me before rehosting...replace Mysticism with Mining for Grimace/Korea. Thanks. Thanks, and oops. He's probably asleep right now, but I have access to the server to do reloads and such...if you build a corrected version of the starting save, I can reload it. I'm reluctant to edit it myself because I don't want to know anything I shouldn't about the game (and I imagine he feels the same way, too). For the americans in the audience that don't have any clue what minging is ... I didn't change my underpants [Underwear] for a week, and they are now minging
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I changed Mysticism into Agriculture for Korea

As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"
