Brick tells me that superdeath offers a pity peace treaty. I have precisely what reason to accept? Looking for a reason to not rage quit RB so thoroughly I'm not tempted to sully a game with my presence ever again.

I leave RB for a couple of years and this is what I come back to? Unacceptable Master Commodore.
It's the journey not the outcome.
Write us an exciting story! Not an exiting one.

Yeesh, misread one unit and talk about "not sullying a game wth your presence"? This is a 25-player game with players ranging in talent from Living Legend to Proven Permanewb. One little mistake, no matter how impactful for your civ, isn't going to throw any more of a wrench into this Pitboss than random neighbor and barb luck is likely to have done already - and your record is far from sullying: You've played great games in the past, and pulled off some really great mini-goals even in games where you realized/decided (for various reasons) you clearly couldn't win. This time it was a wandering NA warrior instead of a wolf, but you've managed to entertain with tough neighbors and a lost Settler in the past as well.
It's your game to play as you want, and your life to live too - I could certainly understand quitting [any game forum or internet site of any kind ever] just to spend more time doing [any non-internet thing you love] - but if it's really a case of "Agh, how can someone who makes such a mistake pretend to play on RB?????" then ... I mean ... just from public knowledge in the tech thread, that Settler isn't even the first or most valuable thing lost to a single mistake so far in this game. Your civ game is still strong (not that you'll win this one, but come on - in a 25 player field, with the neighbors you drew, and TBS/Mack/FinHarry in the game?) and I know I'm not the only one who's thoroughly enjoyed reading your threads - including this one so far!

Kept going for the game's sake. TBS gets a free hand dismembering Superdeath anytime he wants, though.

Looks like TBS or Mackoti manage to abuse Phi pretty hardcore. Amazingly early, guys.

Welcome Ramtown to the empire. I'm not thrilled with the iron location, but it'll work.
