Battering rams do make a huge difference. Two Cossacks supported by a ram took down the walls in Neptune:
Next turn we do our pillaging before taking the city. Will need to think a little bit about if I should push too further after that or wait for England to fall. Meanwhile 4 Cossack attacks couldn't take down Gryphon:
Might lose a crossbow there. I probably won't take it next turn to complete the pillaging first. In the north I have a ram coming down, though I do wonder whether I should just ignore the Encampents and go around. Not much point in killing Vilnus to be honest, so I'll just leave it alone after pillaging it. It will be worth a little culture per turn when this war is over. Grayson and Beowulf are easing pickings now and I'll probably just send the fleet West now, I'm not sure it's worth the time to sail around the coast and bombard his last two cities.
Greece is my strongest opponent, so I figure I should move to striking at him. Get everything together to burn the entire coast. I jumped to 2,400 power with the upgrades btw, more than everyone else combined.
