I am very confused by one aspect, though: last turn you had +15 gpt. This turn you have +24 bpt / -8 gpt. Why aren't the Lighthouse trade routes helping? Did your costs go up that much already?

It won't show yet Mardoc. We only have 3 cities, 2 coastal. Is these next few cities we're going to plant where the payoff begins. 2 cities coming very shortly and then hopefully we're able to just keep expanding due to the GLH trade routes

Hopefully, we'll have horses somewhere handy. Next turn, Kilmorph whips the settler for the 1-tile island you see there...fish makes it viable. Then we should probably bite the bullet and plunge into the war-chariot-haunted jungles to claim all that prime cottage land. Anything coastal is now worth settling, awesome.
