Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore |

I am very confused by one aspect, though: last turn you had +15 gpt. This turn you have +24 bpt / -8 gpt. Why aren't the Lighthouse trade routes helping? Did your costs go up that much already?

It won't show yet Mardoc. We only have 3 cities, 2 coastal. Is these next few cities we're going to plant where the payoff begins. 2 cities coming very shortly and then hopefully we're able to just keep expanding due to the GLH trade routes

Hey, a wolf wouldn't say that! A wolf would know whether Commodore got the Lighthouse without trying to reason it out from other clues.
And, ok, yeah, forgot that you can't get three trade routes in a city when you only have three cities total...

Fourth city made the GLH at least pay: ...and now this turn, we got our first island city, giving us an actual profit (spiking to #1 GNP, actually). Behold, the new (and newly solvent) empire: Hopefully, we'll have horses somewhere handy. Next turn, Kilmorph whips the settler for the 1-tile island you see there...fish makes it viable. Then we should probably bite the bullet and plunge into the war-chariot-haunted jungles to claim all that prime cottage land. Anything coastal is now worth settling, awesome.
