Nothing says "fun" like having the RNG kick you in the teeth every few turns:
I cashed in the merchant for just under 800 gold. I could have had more by waiting one more turn and moving into his capital. Or mack could have sniped the merchant and I would have gotten nothing. Bird, hand, bush, etc. Now I have full vaults, for +2 happy and +25% production. Woot.
Cairo made peace with mack, never a good idea; now he can pick off superjm or me with impunity. Actually, he could do that anyway. I officially concede to mack, if I'm the one keeping this game going. In Cairo's defense, staying at war with mack means potentially having your lands infiltrated by invisible units.
I'm essentially an AI at this point, stuffing my cities with big stacks of units and waiting for the hammer to fall.
