Have u made your mind about the target? When will u attack (I guess u don't want to run into LBs)?

Cheers

Yes, i think i have made my mind up on a target.. Mjmd. And i think ive come up with a rough plan on how to take 3 cities on the 2nd turn of the war. Whether i keep those cities.... another story. Stay tuned!

When... When... Well, im setting up my happy cap to take the brunt of no longer having silver. So id wager.. 15t? MAYBE less? I dont mind him getting some catapults ( his tech is set to construction ) but i hope to have him totally eaten and on the way to being digested in about.. 30t total, with Metal casting tech'd somewhere in there followed by rushing to knights.

Ignore the settler i changed my mind to getting more units out.. i do that alot.

Turning off wealth builds has a hell of an effect.

Hm, I would mind Hwachas with +50% attack against melee units as a Roman...

I mean, its not going to be FUN but he has ( outside of whipping ) less production than 2 of my cities last i checked. And its rather hard to dry whip catapults. Im prepared for it.

2 of the biggest ( not El Grillo ) players are in golden ages right now. Not TERRIBLE demos outside of gnp considering that..

The non military builds are to secure the happy ill need to keep afloat from the +1 silver happy im getting from MJMD that ill be losing, and the possible "hell no, war is bad" unhappy.

Otherwise outside of my Cottage city, all other cities ( i think ) will be running nothing but units until the war is over. Might research metal casting once i get enough gold saved up to give my workers something to do. Forges are going to be NICE with alot of my cities able to hit 20+ base hammers..

I was hoping soon.. like 7t from now. However, Mjmd completed the chicken pizza... so thats kinda pushing me towards going sailing and ruining Plemo's game-winning lead. If someone after the game is over/ect wants to write down in the lurker thread for me to read WHEN i should have attacked ( if at all ) Id love to hear it. I really would.

Feel free to open this once the game is over lol
You over expanded. You should have blocked off one side with two cities and attack the other from 3,4 (max) cities packed around your cap. Around 1000 BC imo.
While praets are strong in vanilla, you should still rush to make the most of them. Specifically because they are one movers.

Hopefully i can turn this around and still end up competitive even though Plemo just hit FEUDALISM...

Sigh..

#1 power in the world and havent really started pumping units yet. Interesting.

Been keeping good track of MJMD's units. How good?

I have most of his marked. As you can see, 3 spears, and only 1 of them will be annoying.

Ill let lurkers guess my attack plan but here is a hint: I will raze 1 city, and capture 2 others on t2 of the war. ( unless really bad luck, then i wont be able to raze one of them ) .../knock on wood

Havent done a city overview in awhile so here it is:

Capital will pump out a couple more Catapults, sadly not enough production to 2t them yet...  COME ON FORGES

A commerce city with a good chunk of production. No whipping here. Will eventually grow onto another plains mine and a grass mine. 19hammers without a workshop... hmm.

Is giving away its 2 foods to help grow/sustain other cities... sadly. So, i will be using this a little bit to whip out some units. It will be getting a forum WAYYY down the road i think to have the happy to sustain whipping or to grow onto the lake/new workshop.. Who knows.

20 base production. My baby. Also running a scientist because reasons. WILL be getting a workshop or two to grow onto later on.

A commerce city. Will be taking the cottage from the city to its north when i start whipping that city.

Dyes make this a commerce city, the 3 hills + copper give it enough production to not be a slouch when building units. Might take back the cow down the road and allow it to grow onto more workshops? Hmm... Base BTS workshops arent the be-all-end-all like in RTR, so it might just grow onto more cottages.

Eventually going to be a pretty good production city. But until the banana is hooked up, and the 2 other hills are mined, im going to rely on whipping. I swapped tiles and production around to pop out another praet this turn instead of the chariot showed tho. shades

THE commerce city of the empire. At least till i take MJMD's river cities... Will be able to grow Very large, and work a ton of cottages. A city to its east will eventually be built, but not till the end of this war. ( same goes for the "filler" city by my iron.. )

A nice island city that will most likely build wealth or something to that effect. Maybe a galley or two if i decide to go a pirating?
