[spoilers] Pindicator and Regoarrarr - Bismark of Ethiopia

I think powering to Calendar is the right choice. Those extra luxuries and food bonuses are worth delaying those builds, except the settlers. As for the settlers, i think we have to send one to our southern island: two food resources make it better than the other options. The other settler can either go to the no-food-land between us and Cyneheard or south to the big island. I'm more inclined to take a risk on the nig island: likely there's a resource down there that we are lacking

Ah, I see I cross posted with more than just waterbat - i didn't catch the picture of our cities where you answered your own question. I pretty much agree with all that you did. As some of those hammer poor cities finish their granaries we can look at whipping in missionaries or work boats. But if we have Calendar within the next 6 turns then we can follow that with a round of infrastructure and then head towards Construction, Metal Casting, and Code of Laws.

Yuri played and rolled the turn. I logged in quick because it would be my preference that we don't broadcast the fact that we're making 132gpt at max tax.

I looked around real quick and then ended turn. I turned science up to 100% - we have 134g in the bank, and are losing 32gpt. Math in 2. Calendar maybe in 3-4 after that?

I moved our exploring galley near Yuri-land and I picked a Lighthouse in Deep Thoughts as its granary finished.

Did not end turn and we can talk about it tonight

Okay we were greeted upon logging in with a request from Nakor to trade maps.

That led me to some digging to figure out if two civs trade maps, and they both get circumnav because of it, who gets the bonus.

It looks like it is the player earlier in turn order. Guess who's #1!!?!?!

Not us :neenernee: . It's Nakor. So the only people after us would be Brick, Azza, Yuri and Krill

I'm pretty sure this is simultaneous turns, meaning all tiebreakers are resolved by a coinflip.

I'm also pretty sure you knew and just wanted someone to correct you and validate you :neenernee

It is simultaneous turns but I'm not entirely sure youre right. But I am willing to be proven wrong

Nakor accepted our map trade and here we are

At least we know where scooter and BRick are. Not that we can really afford to spend the time to send a unit over there to meet them. And it does look that circumnav is probably not possible pre-Optics frown

In worse news, Krill signed peace with Azza, and is now sitting with 10 HAs, 2 Jaguars and 7 chariots in "Second Guess", the choke city he took from Azza.

I'm worried for sure...

Don't know if it's worth trying to "pay" him off in any ways.

I also changed your sign at OTOF to swap to settler at size 5 (to let it grow into 1 unhappiness)
