I hope Whosit will have calmed down and established a more optimistic mood once he's come back.

And I hope that pigs sprout wings and fly, and that talking, singing, dancing crickets turn little puppets into real boys.
So I do, in fact, have 'net access. It looks like it is also theoretically possible for me to play (brought my external drive). BUT: It is very unlikely that my schedule will allow that, so please carry on. I may log in, however, so that I can agonize over the damage each turn. Much as I'd like to go a few days pretending that this game doesn't exist, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I wasn't miserable for it. :neenernee
No prob with the map trade, by the way. If Nakor decides to screw me over for some reason, well . . . he's probably better off for it, honestly.

Jowy has lost Thebes to India.
Plako has moved on Ryloth. I threw catapults and HA's on it but didn't get particularly lucky on rolls. all nearby units moved into city. Couldn't whip catapult as city was too small.
7 Praet's vs 8 Hwachas and about 7 other random. Although all yours are appropriately promoted and his all have damage. I think the Hwacha's will prove too much but maybe lady luck will be on our side.
Plako also has a galley nearby so we'll have to keep an eye out.
Slaze has retreated to Tiwanaku to heal.

Well, at least someone did what I expected, even if that sucks.
Turns out I can't play Civ on my host's computer; it looked like it could handle it, but looks were deceiving.
And, of course, only now does it occur to me to say this: Since they have moved towards Ryloth, make sure that everything else that was hanging around in the open moves nearby, too. Allowing plako free access to Imperial Center is unacceptable.
I'm guessing that Machinery has finished and that Archery is next. Hmm . . . Ryloth is probably as good as gone. With all those Hwachas, I don't think that plako will take any losses, but I'll have to hope. Crossbowmen are my last chance, but I'm not sure that I/you can get the numbers out in time.

Wait, you've gone 160 turns in a multiplayer game without Archery?

With Praetorians, it didn't seem like I would need it. Only 1 turn to research at this point.
With Praetorians, I probably should have actually finished off Korea, but we all know that already.
I know that the Killer Angels can build Knights now, so even if I make it through this war, it's only a matter of time.

Ryloth was burned but the Koreans took significant damage.
It might be possible to get peace as they're stack is pretty scratched up. I'm happy to try negotiate peace with them but would need massive feedback from Kylearan and yourself if i'm going that route.
Slaze- no word. His troops are still healing in Tiwanaku.
World News- It looks like Greece has been absolutely mangled. Doesn't look like they have many cities left if any on the mainland.
HRE founded a new city on the centre island.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but we (HRE) are planning on sending a stack to attack the Korean city of Cheju within a few turns, so that will hopefully set them back somewhat, or lessen their advance in your lands.

I can handle negotiations, but the question is: How badly is their stack injured? Has the cultural control of the tiles changed? How many losses (if any) did they actually sustain? Are any of my troops actually in range to attack (did you move the forces around Nar Shaddaa into attack position?).
That they chose to raze the city is disturbing, since I thought that they were trying to reclaim the territory that they lost. Losing the Great Scientist in the form of the Academy is a big blow. I am fairly certain that they are not going to negotiate peace, though.
I'm not expecting much success from HRE, honestly. I think that I've realized, too late, that my allies are not the most skilled players in this game. Not that I'm making a claim that I'm any better than them, just that I must expect to carry the weight of these wars myself.
