Ok, not much to report. Units unloaded ready for our next city. Nice planning from novice, with a longbow, settler and missionary aboard.
Dave has triggered another golden age as mentioned.
We are starting to look weak, albeit not as weak as Darrell.
End of turn and here is where the oil is.
I switched a couple of the smaller cities from banks to observatory/courthouse as I just don't see what banks will add.
Even though RP is tempting, I think Biology is the best option for the next tech since it will enable us to tech / grow faster and whip more.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

If you have to ask I suspect they may not get there? Can they not sail across the ocean?
We got a spread of Islam I note, always good to have access to more religions. Unfortunately it's too late to build a few monasteries.
Agree with Biology next.
I have to run.

Well you remember the fun we had trying to circumnavigate, right? Well, we've got two now, one for the whales and one for fun. We could try to sell it I suppose. Or save it for future pillaging (as in: to replace our pillaged nets).

Yeah or the other one could possibly serve as a sentry somewhere.
When we were circumnavigating we didn't have Astronomy. I thought the workboats would be able to sail across the ocean once we got Astronomy.

Ooh, you learn something new. I don't think I've been in this specific situation before.

Played T115. Settled Overexposure, which despite being at world's end, makes a profit immediately. There are more islands, but I think we won't reach any further. Shoot settled the marble island close to him this turn.
Researching Biology, couldn't quite squeeze it to a two turn tech, but we'll have it EOT117.
Shoot is drafting rifles.

Well there's not enough cash for a 2-turn tech. We should start to switch to military builds (as I see you have done with that catapult and are doing with the frigates).

Quote:Novice and Spaceman,
I have a number of important issues I would like to speak to the two of you about over email (or chat if you prefer) ASAP. However, first I need a confidentiality agreement: that whatever we discuss stays between our respective civs and does not get spread around.
Regards,
Dave
