It was over really darn early. I thought we actually had a chance going into this one despite losing the previous four to the Terps and the previous FIFTEEN on the road, but it was not to be. You guys look tough this year...

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it tonight, guys, sorry.
My daughter has play practice that was just moved from ending at 6 to ending at 7, and then there will be dinner, maybe homework, and whatever else after I get her.

Well, since I'm going to an NBA game tonight with friends, why don't we just plan to meet back in 2 weeks. I could make it by 10:30 or so, but I don't want to hang out with Cy all THAT badly.

You said two weeks last week, does that mean you won't be around tonight?

I think I mentioned this last week, but I won't be present at all tonight. 9:00pm (EST) basketball game against Florida State means I won't get back until rather late. Catch up with you next week!

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to make tonight's Diablo session again. Today is one of my friends' 25th birthday, and we're going out to celebrate - as well as watch the MD/Duke basketball game on TV. There's basically no chance I'll be back in time to get any Diablo stuff done.
I regret that I've been so unavailable for the last couple of months; usually I'm not quite so busy on weekday nights. In an ideal world, you would be able to continue without me, with Sirian filling in the other warrior spot, but unfortunately that's not the case and so I've been holding everyone back. I hope things will improve in upcoming weeks, but I can't really guarantee that either. Sorry.

It's OK--we've been killing Big D since 1997--he needs a night off every now and then.
Besides, this gives me plenty of time to farm Adria for that elusive book of Blood Boil or Doom Serpents--she's been *really* stingy with those over the last 10 years. Or, maybe Gris and I could finally get around to killing the Arch Lich Malignus or the Incinerator--or even finally cleaning out the Giant Worms from the cellar for Gillian
Does anyone remember the name of the spell from the Alpha that conjured up the big eyeball that went floating around? That collection of my brain cells died long ago, and I just...can't...remember. There is a single wacky floating eyeball in an area of the first zone of the WoW expansion that reminded me of it as it wandered past.
Ah well, consider this--your friend was 14 when Diablo came out. If that doesn't make you go , nothing will .
Have fun.

Hi,

Man, I wish I could remember really important things like, say, the date of my wedding as well as I can remember this sillly gaming stuff...
