Werewolf 2 Planning Thread

It does matter if we start early because a player would befenit from knowing who is a werewolf from the last game. You would be more on your toes if you know how a wolf acts.

That said I don't have a problem starting early. I hope I am not the banner! lol

I went ahead and added you to the player roster. fire&ice gets final say though since he is running the show, so if he has a problem with jumping from 19 players to 20, then I'll take you off, but I imagine it'll be ok.

IMO for future games we should edit the lynching system so that the day ends when over 50% of the people have voted for a specific person, so we don't have unnecessarily long days.

For example if 17 people are alive, when 9 people have voted for a guy, day ends and that person is lynched. Because when there's that many people voting for someone his death is pretty much a foregone conclusion. And if you don't want the day to end early, just don't vote for a guy if it will end the day. Wolves/Mafia can't get over that border themselves, so that shouldn't be an issue.

If 50% is too low the number could be adjusted to something higher but 50% works imo.

I like the fact that you have a specific end date to work to. The fact that the day ends at the same time each day is really useful too. Although I am not playing in this game, I thought i'd point out my experience from the 1st game.

It also means that you can't play the voting so easily which is a pretty good tactic for forcing people to speak up.

Nah alot of the fun comes from the vote-switching which as game 1 has shown clearly can sometimes lead to surprise kills. A lot of what novice+krill did in this game would not have happened had your rule been effective.
Besides as SL points out it makes it alot easier if you have fixed ending time.
