How to reset random seed

If I want to simulate something, I might create a situation in worldbuilder and then test the outcome multiple times. But how do I prevent the game from using the same random seed every time, thus yielding the same results for every simulation run?
I have to run.

Check the option "New random seed on reload" when the game is started. Then the game will re-randomize every time you reload.

When you create a custom scenario from the worldbuilder file choose 'New Random Seed on Reload' option. Then save game before combat and you're set.

Edit : Meh, no chance in a race with T-hawk wink

Thanks guys. I was looking for the option in-game, makes sense though that it needs to be specified when the game is started.

If you have an existing savegame that lacks that option, you can get it if you save as a WB scenario, then start a new game from that scenario with that option enabled. You'll lose things like the turn count and build progress but it's better than rebuilding from scratch.
