I'm glad the villagers managed to lynch a wolf and save the baner, however, I have to confess that if I were playing I would be tempted to want to lynch MJW just for the craziness of his posts! Hopefully the confirmed innocents start telling him (via PM) what to do because unless he makes a crazy baner move at the wrong time.

Sareln may be a werewolf who want to get trust so he might be PM by the seer. The village is SOL anyway if that is true though.

The OWL is almost an extra seer now. The real seer will PM me soon enough and if I don't get two seer PM's we can hook up with him.

I trust you now. You are telling the truth or the best werewolf ever and should win. I actually lied about Luddite telling me he was a Mason. He can explain better then I can why.

Because Sareln is now a villager Serlec is very likely to. It would be super-aggesrive for a werewolf to kill one of his own.

Roland might be a werewolf. His No Vote would have put Serdo over the top until the Serlec vote change cause by Sandover killing himself.

I would vote Gasper for his lack of postings and wanting to kill me. But I am not good at this game . Roland, if we don't lych him would be a great scry target. Lots of people trust him so send PM's to him. We might find the seer that way. If he is a werewolf he is a very good one and it would be great to kill him.

I should also tell you that Rowain gave me that big post he plotted down on the forum in case he got night-killed. It may just be a wolf stunt.

2) Be very careful who you talk to, and what you reveal. ANY information we give away to ANYONE could potentially find its way into the hands of the Wolves, and we do NOT want them knowing anything at this point.

No, but I did tell Mr. Nice Guy that I trusted Haphazard1. That may have been , but I figure that if MNG is a wolf, then he knows nothing new (especially since they've already scanned Hap...which makes me more suspicious of MNG).

What is a crazy baner move? He's only got a 1/20 or 1/10 or whatever chance of making a difference anyway. He can't accidentally kill a villager with his power or anything of that magnitude. The worst thing he can do is waste his turn protecting a wolf, which is actually no different than just protecting the wrong villager.

But, envisage this: the wolves decide to have two of their own guys battle it out, both claiming to be baner.

This would be a terrible wolf play - the villagers will surely kill one of two competing baners.

I was thinking more the along the lines of broadcasting his intentions publicly, rather than protecting the wrong person per se. The way I see it is he really has to either (1) protect himself all the time or (2) just risk it and protect someone else every time hoping the wolves assume he's protecting himself. Then if he manages to save someone, he can switch to himself.

My concern would be that whichever way he plays it, he'll telegraph his plans in his posts.

I wonder how many players are managing to read all those walls of text in the game thread - I know I'm not - my eyes keep skipping downwards looking for the end.

If I were playing I would vote for Mr. Nice Guy. It's more a gut feeling than based on evidence, but gut feelings are often due to the subconscious doing some neat detective work...

I bet many of the players will be voting based on gut feelings and without having read the entire game thread.
