Serdoa, it's not because your posts are wolfish, it's because they're not helping.

I hope you'll agree that anyone not voting for Sandover should have perhaps an extra amount of suspicion on them. Therefore, my logic was to look at these people first. Of those, i then looked at people who weren't contributing.

Yes, you've posted a lot. You're certainly not quiet and i thank you for that. However, you are yet to help us deduce who any werewolves are. All of your recent posts are defending yourself and explaining that you've done nothing wolfish. That's not why i believe you're a wolf. You're not necessarily acting wolf-like, you're just not acting villager-like.

You want people to think you're not a wolf? Then vote for a meaningful lynch target today. Not lynching does not help us. I tell you what, you want me to believe you're innocent? I also think Meiz is a werewolf. Vote for him. If Meiz turns out to be a villager and i'm wrong, then no blame can be given to you.

Ok after going back over the day 1 votes for my main suspects:

Gaspar joined in the vote for Sandover fairly early and then leaves at almost the last minute for MJW.
Sandover tried to distract voting to Meiz and then Sareln when no-one bites.
Meiz votes for a sacrifice (Sareln)
Mr Nice Guy comes late to the party but stays on Sandover when others leave.

None of its conclusive but my gut feeling says Meiz - I think Sandover was just trying to spread the votes so the wolves could lynch an innocent (Sareln)

I'm out for much of the evening now so won't get a chance to change my post so I hope I'm right

Urgh, I needed more time but mass will probably take me past the deadline.

Of our two main choices today (Gaspar, Meiz); I don't like Gaspar's style, but that doesn't make him a wolf. I've found the arguments against Meiz more compelling than the ones against Gaspar, and it's imperative that we lynch with good margins, since we won't always get the luck of the Sandover v. Sareln (me) vote. When we lynch with small margins, we definitely leave ourselves wide open to the wolves for manipulation.

Sorry Meiz, but today's your day it seems.

Well actually:
Either the wolves manipulate things which leaves a trail, which we can hopefully pick up on.
Or
The wolves intentionally do not manipulate things, which leaves us succeptible to those who can swing vote without worrying about being caught at it, the masons.

I think in general close run days give us more information, and information is always a good thing.

EDIT: With the notable exception of baner claiming tongue

luddite Wrote:And in fact, the vote was even closer than it looks. Selrahc was voting for sareln until almost the very last minute. He changes his vote at 4:37. Uberfish put in a vote for 4:38, which was almost certainly a cross post. If Selrahc hadn't changed his vote, Sandover would have gone free.

I will confirm that was a cross post, I don't have anything to hide. Frankly I'm surprised that I'm not one of today's suspects based on that last minute vote.

Personally my suspicion of Gaspar is based more on his coordination with (and possible influence on) Roland to switch away from Sandover, than the fact he voted for MJW in particular. This is the only coordinated move off Sandover that we know about, so I still find it better evidence than Meiz casting a solo vote on Sareln early and not moving it.

With that post you are nailing exactly what I felt all day long: You (and several others) don't care about what is best for the village, you are not even asking me to weigh the arguments against both canditates - no, just "vote with me and uh, if he is a villager, don't mind, there are others to blame then as well." The same as Roland and Lewwyn are doing it with their "If others are now telling that Gaspar could very well be the wolf, then they are only wolves trying to help one of theirs". You don't intend to let the city work out the best course of action, you have already decided on it and try to force others to vote with you. No matter if you are wrong or right, I don't like that.

The wolves intentionally do not manipulate things, which leaves us succeptible to ... the masons.

Wolf slip or just bad phrasing? Hmm.
