Dammit. I must admit, I was a little nervous about the Meiz vote as the day went on, but I didn't have the courage to say anything because I was trying to save myself. Sucks.

I'll try to be a bit more transparent in the future, its obvious that my tactics to this point have caused unnecessary distraction. All apologies, especially to Meiz.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

No walls of text. No eloquent dances. Nothing but the plain truth - I missed the mark, and in doing so burned any credibility I had. It's over. Time for someone else to step forward.

I'm sorry Meiz. I was wrong.

Some innocent villagers being lynched is unfortunately part of this game -- look at WW1. frown Getting a wolf on Day 1 was a tremendous plus for the village. Lynching Meiz is very unfortunate, since we had better options available -- as many of us indicated with our votes. But now it is time to regroup, reassess our information, and prepare for the next day. I hope those who were so insistent about Meiz being a wolf will give other arguments a fresh look...as well as considering who among them were wolves leading the village to the wrong conclusion.

Of course, we have to live through the night first. yikes

I will reiterate my Day 2 position that Gaspar is my top suspect. (No vote yet since it is night, but I intend to cast this officially once Day 3 begins.) I need to reread the Day 2 postings to adjust the rest of my "Most Likely to Have Fur-n-Fangs" list. Ug the Barbarian is high on that list, and a number of others have boosted their suspicious quotient with Day 2's voting. I will post more on these thoughts later, once I recheck all the votes and the timing.

Quite. Don't give up just from one failed lynch.

+1 to post count lol

Meiz seemed like a really strange lynch pick to be honest, I had no strong feelings on him one way or the other and pegged him as a probable villager before the result of today.

Day 3 looks at the moment to be a possible choice between Roland/Gaspar/Serdoa from todays events and thus I'd expect all of them to survive the night phase (anyone who's suspicious the wolves will ignore for as long as possible). I'd strongly encourage people to use the night phase to think logically about the new evidence of day 2 and not to try and let emotions or any special kind of mentality (I'm a sheep/shephered) affect their day 3 votes.

Discussion is great guys but flat out arguing usually achieves nothing but sore ego's

Well, with 14 villagers and 5 wolves, the odds were against us catching one. I think everyone's expectations and confidence were raised too high with yesterday's success.

The people who voted for Meiz now become the prime suspects when it comes to voting patterns. Although that is only because Gaspar could still be a wolf. If Gaspar isn't a wolf then all we've really done is given the wolves the day off by not really raising any serious candidates other than two of our own.

I apologise for being a bit quiet, I had something of a busy weekend both in real life and elsewhere on this forum. Although there wasn't much to say either, just a frenzy of ultimately misdirected debate. My vote was already in the, if not right, then at least not-yet-known-to-be-wrong place, regardless. Although it was a little arbitrary Meiz was in my next highest category of targets anyway.

Overall, this is bound to happen occasionally, in fact likely to happen more often rather than not. We're still in good shape for having caught one earlier and not having lost the seer yet. So let's each just hope we survive the night and look forward to a more productive day tomorrow.

If Gaspar is a wolf and Sereln isn't then the people that voted for both Sereln and Meiz are pretty darn suspicious. Otherwise I'd still say top suspects are people who worked towards saving sandover and the next tier are those of us who voted for Meiz.

I'm sorry, it's my fault. Go back and look. I led the charge. I've had it in for Meiz since Day 1. I pulled Roland off his top suspect.

I still believe Gaspar to be innocent. It was an easy day for the wolves they got to play it up with two innocents on the block. There were a couple of votes that made me super suspicious I was wrong, but I was so sure, I just brushed those concerns away.

I should be a top suspect but I hope to lessen those suspicions if I survive the night. Truly thought you were a wolf Meiz, you just pushed my buttons.

You know this made a lot of sense to me. So I looked at final vote tallies, and the only person to fit this description is Sareln. alright banghead
You can get a look at a t-bone by looking up the bulls ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

Sorry but... what? Those of us who voted for Meiz have presented good arguments for why we did so, and there's no proof at all that Gaspar is guilty. The only person that we do have proof against is Sandover- the people who voted and argued to save him are still the prime suspects.

This I agree with. We only need to be right about half the time to win.
