Ug, your posting is so wrong, I am not sure I know where to start...
Ug the Barbarian Wrote:We've hung the devil, the seer has confirmed Uberfish as a wolf and you still have the lowest post count of all active players. if that doesn't sound like a wolf trying to hide, I don't know what does.
The first 2 points do not have anything to do with someone being a wolf or not. So all you really mention is his low post count, but you try to make it sound like an important argument. I mean, I told already that I think that it is suspicious that several people haven't posted all that much - but it is the same for you Ug. Both Dantski and you (together with some others) have posted nearly nothing as even the available posts are not more then agreeing with the majority vote.
Quote:Roland - please stop swaying in the wind with every arguement going. You do this on every vote - who's side are you actually on ?
Thats wrong on so many levels that I don't even need to comment any more I think...
Quote:We've had the seer (no don't say he's a fool as no-one else has come forward otherwise)
Yeah I am sure the wolves would like to have someone else come forward, especially after they have scanned sunrise. If there is another possible "Seer" he will stay in the back and try to get his thoughts out without being catched - what is surely extremely hard in our enviroment right now I guess.
Quote:say Uberfish is a wolf. Even if thats only 90% certain, its better than an almost random guess that Scooter is trying to get you to make & have people follow you.
No it is not. And scooter even explained why it is not better. And Roland actually as well made very good points - especially why our seer doesn't tell us his scry results from last night. I don't see any reason to hold them back or not post them here in the thread - the wolves know who is a villager and who is a wolf anyway.
Quote:If Uberfish turns out not to be a wolf, then you can hang me next but stop dragging us back into letting the wolves guide the vote.
Stop making those "You can hang me then" arguments. That is no argument at all. And we can't because you might as well be a misguided villager and then we lose 2 villagers - not what we want.

By the way, what's our current vote tally? I'm heading out to dinner.
Oh and I agree with Ug about Dantski. He's been on my radar ever since everyone conveniently forgot about him after the first day.

This is probably the only semi valid bit of your reply. The evidence against Danski is limited to him being the least vocal person.
However its obvious you've not properly read my posts and when they were posted. I wasn't 'following the majority vote' when I went after Uberfish and Selharc - I was the second to suggest Uberfish (after Lewwyn had been ignored by everyone) and the first to mention Selharc. I voted for Uberfish first before Sunrise & others pointing to Selharc as the devil so swapped my vote to ensure he was lynched.

And they've not come through a 'trusted / unopposed source' like Kyan as remaining Mason ? Rubbish - it sounds just like a wolf arguement to confuse matters - which makes me happy I added you to my suspect list earlier (one of my posts you've obviously chosen to ignore)

It could be for a number of reasons, like sunrise's lack of posting generally or that he's confirmed a villager - which would then put them at risk of being next target after him as a 'trusted' person.

Thats more for the people suggesting that I'm more likely a wolf than Uberfish. I'm afraid the fact that you and Scooter are pursuing this defence of Uberfish is just convincing me that you two are wolves.

Maybe because they are not trusted by those and feel that they would potentially get on the chopping block instead of help? I mean I can't read minds I am sorry, so I can't tell you. But we do have with Owl, Seer and Baner too many power-roles with only a Devil to oppose us. I wouldn't even be wondering if we do not have a Seer at all but only a Fool.

Ok, thats something I didn't think about, you are right here.

I don't mind being accused a wolf by you to be honest. And I don't defend uberfish, I only state that there are other - and in my mind better - ways to pursue then to lynch him today.

The way I see it:
We have sunrise called Seer by others first. Later he said yes he is the seer and he scanned uberfish with the result wolf.
If we lynch uberfish today there are 2 possible outcomes:
a) uberfish is a villager => we know sunrise is either fool or wolf and can start to clear all this mess.
b) uberfish is a wolf => while this doesn't prove that sunrise is not the fool it reduces his chances to be a wolf close to zero and we have killed a wolf so clear win here.

Lewwyn Wrote:Isn't it? I'm provoking a response from him which I find to be very wolfish. It's very interesting to me that you would come to his defense as well. Both of you were avidly defending Meiz and you even got him to thank you! I would think that you were quite proud of yourselves for that.
This happens a lot and it is extremely nonsensical. Scenario: Random person gets accused. They defend themselves in a well-reasoned manner. They get accused again by someone who ignores their defense. They defend themselves again. Therefore they must be a wolf. Okay? Does it not occur to you that a villager would fight for their life too? If you can get that through your thick head, I'll be amazed.
Quote:Saying I'm acting childish is just another defense, an attempt at discrediting.
You were acting childish. You made no attempt to discuss it, you just posted the same thing over and over again in a trollish manner. If you do that in a PBEM thread it'll annoy the fire out of me too. I'm done responding to you though, and if anyone else (Mr. Nice Guy?) still thinks what I said is a concern, they can bring it up and I'll happily address it then.

All of you uberfish voters - none of you responded to the comments I made in this post:
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....tcount=739
The first two paragraphs outline why it doesn't make sense to lynch uberfish until tomorrow. It's simple statistics - if we lynch him today we can probably approximate that there's a 65% chance (or better) that he's guilty. We're more or less out of major leads though, so tomorrow whoever we lynch - there's probably more like a 40% chance that he's guilty.
If sunrise dies tonight, we can lynch uberfish tomorrow with 100% certainty. If he doesn't die tonight, then we would realize that the probability of him being guilty has dropped considerably and that we could have potentially saved ourselves from a mistake. But my point is we could lynch him for 100% sure, and lynch someone else at that 40%-ish number tonight, and that number could go up if we'd discuss who else could be guilty.
This makes complete logical sense and all 7 of you have ignored it and kept your vote on uberfish, which makes me skeptical of what's going on here.
