Werewolf 3 Game Thread

Oh and in the interests of continuing from last game the spirit of complaining about technical matters to up my post count, can I put in a humble request to put times in GMT or some such? I have no idea what time PST is, either before or after daylight savings. The sycnrhonisation post is an excellent idea, and of course I could always just wait for it, but if I'm not around I then need to subtract off the error in the RB clock to work out when it was posted and it's all a bit difficult.

Irgy Wrote:Well, let's just hope I can catch a wolf in one of my traps. The only question is, who should we use as bait? That muscly fellow Meiz looks like the tastiest morsel to me.

I'm going to propose Mr. Nice Guy as mayor. He's got the best looking suit to wear if nothing else.

I think Irgy has cross-posted with me and it took about ten minutes for him to right this. It would not take ten minutes for him to write that post if he where a villager. I think he cross-posted with me because he respects me a little (see his post in the lurker thread where he says "I can just about make out what MJW said"). And he is looking at Miez like food! He already told a lie. Irgy's traps can not save us from the werewolfs... lol I really do think he is a wolf.

Middle aged man steps to the inn with a grim look on his face. Old rusty war axe, clearly used for chopping wood for the last years, is hanging on his side.

Sharpen your axes and sickles fellow villagers! Now is not the time to be hovering in fear, but to fight back and slay these pawns of evil!

*takes a deep look at sandover* You would be better off to hold your tongue! I have seen men slain for lesser insults. Know that you will be the last person who will get my vote for the mayor. I believe we need a mayor, who has no need to act and pretend to be important. My vote will go for Scooter, for now.

I still have lot of troubles trying to understand what MJW is talking about. Maybe it's the accent? He is quick to throw accusations around, but that is the nature of an inquisitor, I guess. I say we start with the village idiot, fire&ice. He must have been an easy target at night for the baron.

For what it's worth, I didn't cross post, and sorry to burst your bubble but I don't really respect you all that much MJW. I mean I like you, you're great fun and all, and I'll miss you if you get voted off day 1 this time, but I definately disrespect you enough to ignore your accusation. In fact I nearly posted "Ok, good, I'm safe now, MJW is after me" :neenernee

However, you are right that it took me 10 minutes to write it. In fact it took about an hour. I looked through the player list for who's role seemed tastiest, and that took a while. I was going to vote Dantski for Mayor, but then realised he, well, wasn't playing. Nor Gaspar, who also played well in a past life. So, sorry Mr Nice Guy, but you were my third choice. Still pretty good though, right? Also in the mean time I gave my daughter a bath, read her a book and put her to bed.

So it only wasn't a crosspost because I refreshed the thread before finishing it.

The sign above the shop said scribe.
And sure, there was a lot of copying down involved.
Selrahc however, knew that this was the tip of the iceberg. He was without a doubt the most important person in the entire town, despite the bare grudging acceptance that they all seemed to give him.
Brainwork was not accepted as important in the village. The view across the rest of the village was that the important thing was getting the horses milked, or the shop swept or whatever it was these people actually did. They couldn't see the importance of paperwork.
And so he was forced to step in. He was a lawyer. An accountant. A general mental dogsbody, keeping track of the variables in the village.
It was so important. He'd seen already a dozen conflicts over land and jobs that had been easily defused by his records where once they would have resulted in long running feuds and public brawling.
And it was even more important now. Without his records the heart rending task of identifying the bodies from the recent tragedy would have been even more difficult.
Basically, he was running the town. He was the administration, the legal system, the primary means of contact to the outside world, and the property surveyor.

And despite all this they just didn't get it. They thought he just wrote letters, and spent all his day practising the curly bits on the words. They looked down on him.
Pen Pusher. Scribbler. Write-slave. Others besides.

Well neven in this time of crisis he could see opportunity. When the new mayor was elected he'd push as many of his duties as he could onto that unlucky chump. See how he liked it. Maybe Selrahc could get some recognition around here.

And if Selrahc was really lucky he could get enough free time to finally get back to the assignment that the Guild of Scriveners had posted him here for in the first place.

Meiz
MJW
Obviously subject to change.
I'm really hoping these three votes don't cause MJW to crack and reveal himself to the thread. Or enact one of his theories that a villager under pressure should lie his arse off to avoid a lynch.

Gaspar's wife's method, huh?

Unfortunately that was about the only thing about your post that I could understand. You should strive to communicate more clearly. (And this from a foul-mouthed farmhand!)
I have to run.

I see that you have a need to arm yourself during daytime. No doubt compensating your temporary lack of claws...

Aye this simple Carpenter can not understand the words this demon speaks! We must end his life before he infects us or make our heads hurt with illogical fallacies and unintelligible utterances!

Back foul beast! Out of my head! Oh it is too late his words have already begun pounding in my head, we must end the source of dread!

Even though my attack did not stick I'm think you're a werewolf Irgy. However, unless something happens, I think the first lych will be a race with me, F&I or Meiz. I know I am on team good; and I think the last two will not have Meiz in it. All that Meiz did was attack me after Sandover did and got linked by that. So I'll vote Fire&Ice.

If you read my next post I said I would never fake claim a power-role if I am about to get lyched.

Bah, you can play this game as much as you like, but truth is that I am not interested in your little game. Bark all you want!
