Werewolf 3 Game Thread

Unfortunately that was about the only thing about your post that I could understand. You should strive to communicate more clearly. (And this from a foul-mouthed farmhand!)

1. I voted Roland for mayor because he would be a great mayor if he where on team good and likely to get lyched soon if he where a wolf. He would get lyched before he would be albe to tie-break.

2. I voted Irgy because he said he acted like a villager in the last game. I think he did a poor job. If he does that again he is very likely to get lyched even if he is a villager.

In other news I think I found a cheap trick. Only wolfs PM (and masons) and if you check a poster's profile you see if they are PMing. I won't do this because I think it would be banned if our mod thought of it. I like being on team village is fun because you don't have all the information. I really like commoning up with tricks to find out information. It is what Inquistor does.

I thought you voted for me because I made a good fake-villager last time. But it's because I was a bad one Except now I don't understand you at all. If I can't put on a good villager pretense like you say, then you don't need to worry about voting me off today because I'll give myself away later. It seems like a good reason not to vote for me if anything.

Yes, metagaming, can we just not do it at all this time please! Why suggest it to everyone else if you don't think we should do it (for a very good reason as you gave)? In any case, just so everyone know, you can send a pm without visiting someone's profile page. Just click on their name in a forum post. Or just write a pm and type their name in manually.


On the whole, I've reached my first conclusion: MJW is a villager. If he was a wolf, the other wolves would have put a leash on him and told him to keep a bit quieter and make some more sense. That he's posted like mad unconstrained suggests no-one is there controlling him.

Either that or it's all a second-guess ploy. Actually why don't I just save myself the trouble and put that in my signature...

Checking to see if someone ever writes a PM is a bad method anyway. Last game the wolves were using email for communication. And I know that I definitely use PMs for things completely unrelated to werewolf games. So it's fairly poor metagaming.

I would definitely prefer if we keep all metagaming to a minimum though, effective or ineffective. We've already got roleplay level and basic game level to pay attention to, and that is quite enough.

Actually I believe he's saying you can see when someones writing a private message because it shows up as their activity when you visit their profile page. Just like it shows which thread you are viewing or replying to. As a result this is all null and void because Sareln already warned the wolves to use email to communicate with each other to avoid this. He said so in the Sign-up thread I believe. So again, this is really stupid.

1. When you PM someone the fourm always boots you to the PM page. The fact that you are on that page is always shown. Check it out! Most people don't PM other for this game here.

2. I thought you where a good werewolf but acting just like a villager did not work for you... You got threw the early game crazyness. However, once there was not many people who where acting strangely you where the odd person out.
