Yes - I know that a PBEM tend to last long and Quick Speed seems like a natural solution to address this issue but anyway ... the game seems wierd sometime with this speed-setting. frown

There's things I don't like about Quick as well, but the alternative is a month of waiting a day to do little more than hit enter.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

As for the first 30 turns being boring: Maybe we can setup some blitz sessions like we do with the FFH2 games?

Serdoa, Ioan is not in the same game. I've made the map assuming Quick speed. Map obvivously would also work at normal speed, but I think couple of minor adjustments would be in order.

It might be that most of the potential ones think this is filled so another thread on general forum could attract new players.

Have you asked also PBEM15 forum to be opened or are you all gonna be on same forum probably named PBEM14?

If we're playing the same map, makes sense to keep the same forum. Obviously we shouldn't be reading threads for the other game as well as our own. Though I suppose its less specifically spoilerish if we're using different Civ's, it still reveals things like map info much sooner than we would otherwise.

Can't see why a set-up like PBEM4 wouldn't work, even if we don't specifically have a greens/vets split like that one did.

I found the PBEM4 setup extremely annoying to follow as a lurker, so my personal suggestion is to separate the two.

Is there anyone else besides KingofPain capable of creating the forum? Obviously Griselda but she's been pretty invisible for some time now. I'd just hate for the game to be delayed indefinitely like this due to not having a sub-forum for it.
