There is absolutely no way they knew for sure. So, lucky. At least now we know that any other 'seer' is the fool. Got that everyone? If you think you're the seer, you're not.

Seems the wolves have chosen quite similar like in WW2. But that they got the real seer and not the fool is extremly unlucky.

As we have to fly without seer now I stick with my vote from yesterday

Reading through Bob's post I think this might have been the reason for the wolves.

Bobchillingworth Wrote:Having put about three minutes of thought into it, I think the best play for an unconfirmed fool / seer is to keep their identity secret as long as reasonably possible & compile scrys, without relying overmuch on their scry results for lynchings. Eventually they'll learn their own role by seeing how their results match up to revelations regarding player identity following lynchings / night killings. At that point it's up to the seer when they wish to reveal themselves, the results of their investigations, and pray that the baner believes them. Or they can keep their role a secret and try to nudge votes in the correct direction if they're persuasive enough. Meanwhile, a self-aware Fool should focus their efforts on finding the real seer, so that they can jump to their aid if the village is about to lynch them for whatever reason.

Worst baner ever.
I have to run.

Dang it dang it dang it. It's a good thing we have the example of WW1 and WW2 with early seer deaths yet the village still winning, cause otherwise I'd be giving up hope right about now.

We hardly knew you. Fare thee well in the spoiler thread.

Bobchillingworth Wrote:While I understand your reasoning here, I worry about the possible consequences of putting pressure on too many people for the sake of seeing how they react under duress. My main concern is that we could end up accidentally causing a power role villager to reveal themselves in a bid to escape the noose.

my take: No reason to hold back Menhirs now.

(I did a lookup on Bob's posts and accidentally clicked on one he just put in the spoiler thread. Sorry, luckily it wasn't spoilerish.)

Dear god that was unlucky, not sure where to go from here.

Was going to vote for anybody who targetted Bob yesterday, but there doesn't seem to be anybody. Will think about it overnight

Note:

Using the Advanced search thread tool, you can constrain the search of a player's posts to only the thread in question. That way you can search on a player's name and avoid spoilers from either the Lurker thread or the PBEM threads. Hope that helps.

For future reference everyone - click here:

And you'll get a list of who has how many posts in the thread. You can then click on the number next to their name to get a search of all their posts in that thread only. This will prevent getting posts in other threads, like this game's spoiler thread or potentially their posts in another game's spoiler thread.

Thank you, I hadn't had to worry about these things until now.
