Ok, seems half the village is on PB, and this will not tell us much, seems MNG has a bit more suspicion on him, now, so I will switch back to him and hopefully we can at least make it close between him and PB to gather a bit of data

Zakofonix was satisfied with his latest verse. The fence by the meadow was always such a nice and quiet place to collect your thoughts. Back in the square, the arguments kept raging back and forth, but many people were set on lynching the stablehand. He had a certain "reputation" among the womenfolk, and the mob's jealousy was ill-concealed.
Zakofonix had been in the mood for some additional "inspiration", but apparently the herbalist's wares weren't so hot today. The stone thrower, who was widely recognized as a little dull, had tasted some of it and promptly gone crazy. He had lobbed all his menhirs at the mayor's residence, which was now in shambles, before regaining his senses. Fortunately, the mayor was out looking for his former employer at the time. Some people were clamoring to lynch the herbalist after this destructive incident. Hanging the stone thrower was also considered, but the idea was eventually abandoned, since nobody had a strong enough rope. When the mayor returned, bearing news of Cull's fate, he was met with a wall of shrugs. His death had been swift and painless. That didn't seem like such a rough deal, under the circumstances.

Heh. Thanks for amusing me.

I haven't forgotten!

Working on finding just the right piece. You'd be amazed how hard it is to get a good quality piece of Maple.
Rowain Wrote:To gain trust perhaps? If he stays on me he lynches a villager if he throughs Selrahc under he bus he becomes the 'wolf-killer'. At least in you he has found an engaged defender.
I've already addressed this point - it would be tantamount to suicide. Besides, I've defended you just as much as I have novice, along with several others. I'll defend anyone who I feel is being wrongly accused on poor evidence. Of course, some may argue the wisdom in that strategy, but I'd rather know we're casting votes based upon solid evidence rather than fabrications - wouldn't you agree?
Besides, you still have yet to make a solid case against pocketbeetle. He's done the most amount of damage to himself, ironically. Your crusade has done well to make you appear innocent, but it hasn't done much (on its own) to prove your suspicions.
Rowain Wrote:This is the worst thing a villager can do. We don't have secret networks that communicate behind the scenes, we only have the forum. If part of the village start to ignore the other half the wolves win. I might be an idiot on a crusade but even as such I think you can find some info in my posts.
I agree whole-heartedly. As much as some people may appear to be not worth the time and effort it takes to read their posts, it's a dangerous avenue to take. We're always better reading all posts - it's the only information we have.

I find it kinda funny how my request that we lynch Rowain if PB is innocent was discarded and now we even start to call him innocent. What exactly did he do to be innocent? I don't buy the whole "He is on a crusade, no wolf would that." for a simply reason: Rowain stated that it is best to play a villager when you are a wolf. What better way to play a villager then to go on a crusade?
Anyway, I'll hope for now that you guys are right with PB. I am not sure if he is acting really strange or if the switches to him always happen at a time when he simply can't react to them.

Apologies to you Roland about the voting issue I mentioned last night. In my defense, your vote was like 150 posts ago, so I seriously just totally forgot.
The PB/Rowain thing makes me a little antsy... Here's the scenarios for this:
1. Both are wolves - This seems highly unlikely. Both Rowain and PB would make good wolves, and good wolves wouldn't do this.
2. PB is a wolf - Then we are in luck, and are on track to lynch a wolf. Very possible.
3. Rowain is a wolf - Then we are about to lynch the total wrong guy. Thing is, if we lynch PB and he is innocent, we can't necessarily just lynch Rowain the next day, because option 4:
4. Both are innocent. This scares me... This is why I will be sticking with JKaen and I will not be voting for either PB or Rowain, regardless of what happens. It seems odd that Rowain could be guilty, but I also think the case against PB is bizarre - as in I don't think it actually exists. This is why I am steering clear of both sides right now and voting for JKaen.
Also, I am going to be gone for the next 6ish hours, so I will not be around at the deadline for the mass vote swapping that could occur, so I will be on JKaen for the remainder of the day.

Very difficult to cast a vote today. I'm leaning towards PB, but without much conviction (Jkaen posts made me change my mind about him being a wolf).
I find it funny that Lewwyn said a few posts back that he voted for MJW because he didn't like MJW. I spent the whole first day trying to understand why Lewwyn thought MJW was a wolf (he justified his votes by saying he thought so) and now he says he didn't think MJW was one in the first place.
I don't think Lewwyn is a wolf right now. A little suspicious, but no so much. My problem with this is because it's harmful to the village to have villagers thinking that they are always right and forgetting the wrong things they did. Hell, Lewwyn actually said that it was good to lynch Roland in WW2
I didn't like the tone of the PB vs. Roland/Lewwyn discussion some posts back. It seemed more like a fight over who is the most intelligent/valuable player in the game. It didn't benefit the village at all.
Even though the 3 players should be blamed, PB's case gets worst. He seems to avoid any kind of constructive discussions and prefers to attack the person who gave the reasoning, not the reasoning itself. Based on this, I wouldn't mind lynching PB, even though I'm not nearly sure that he's a wolf.
Also, his case against Rowain wasn't very solid and he never answered any of our questions regarding it. I still can't believe that so many people voted Rowain based on that. It's like if the theory had more strenght just because PB said it.

Roland Wrote:I've already addressed this point - it would be tantamount to suicide. Uhm how so. At the current moment novice is regarded as villager. You believe he is, Jkaen believes it and so on. So if he happen to be a wolf he has now found a safe haven. I fail to see any suicide here.
Roland Wrote:I'll defend anyone who I feel is being wrongly accused on poor evidence. Thats the rub isn't it. Who decides about the wrongly? and on what evidence? We have absolutly no hard evidence here. All we have are indications who might or might not be a wolf. Even against Selrahc everything people had were feelings, suspicions but hard evidence? Never.
Roland Wrote:Of course, some may argue the wisdom in that strategy, but I'd rather know we're casting votes based upon solid evidence rather than fabrications - wouldn't you agree? If we only vote based on hard evidence only the wolves can vote (and in case of each other the Masons). Nobody else has any case of hard evidence. We have suspicions and indications but no hard evidence what so ever. To ask bluntly what was your hard evidence against Cull on day1?
Roland Wrote:Besides, you still have yet to make a solid case against pocketbeetle. I have to make a solid case vs PB???? He is the one we have the best indication of all people. Every villager is throwing around his suspicions and his votes like a who** her favors but I'm required to make a hard case? Against the one we have the best case? I think I have outlined why he should be high on the targetlist especially now after day2.
If you don't agree, fine thats your right to do but don't talk nonsense of hard evidence. We don't get the luxury of hard evidence.

Do note that I have not discarded it. In reality I guess if we kill PB today nad he turns out innocent I might still be the next on the gallows.

Two things:
1) I posted my reasons for believing Rowain innocent. I don't know about anyone else, but that's mine. I'm not sure anything is ever discarded on purpose, but the content in this thread is so large that things get buried or not responded to. However, I do remember someone stating that it was a particularly bad idea to make a promise to lynch Rowain if PB is innocent because it tears a village apart. I agree. Also, I think there are many more suspicious people than Rowain to lynch. PB is one. I am not simply voting for PB because Rowain said to. Understand this. I've given my reasons. Hell, I've given more reasons than Rowain has. Therefore it makes no logical sense to me to consider lynching Rowain if PB is innocent because he was never the reason I voted PB in the first place. I think for myself Serdoa, do you?
2)You say if the switches to him happen at a time when he can't respond, this is deliberately misleading and false. ALl vote on PB are accumulated throughout the lynch days. The switches were are suspicious and fast always happen away from him. That is what is so suspicious. It has nothing to do with the votes being placed on him. He has plenty of time to defend himself and he does so, poorly. So, to save his fur, a quick late swing takes place.
You seem to be confused Serdoa. Or are you trying to be confusing? In the first part you are trying to set up a double lynch if PB is an innocent. In the second you are obfuscating. I was pretty much trying to keep an open mind about you, marking down your aggression and negativity to personality, but with this latest post I'm downright suspicious.
Suspect List:
PB
Zakalwe
JKaen
Serdoa
As always the list is subject to change. Ichabod, GES, Mardoc, Meiz have all been on the list at some point. They dropped off, but they could still come back. Keeping an open mind here and working only with things that I see and can explain back to people. Like the above.
