I wondered too, maybe the wolves argued that a player with a power role or a wolf role would have set aside more than 5 minutes every day? huh

You guys want the reasons to vote for PB? Here are mine. I have stated them and some have read them but if you believe there are no reasons being placed forward then you are deliberately not reading my posts because you think I'm stupid, worthless or lack enough judgment to pull a leech from my neck. All of that is fine, but don't say noone is trying to put forth reason. Also, I'm not trying to win a pissing contest about being the best villager. I think everyone believes I suck. You've made that abundantly clear. If I disagree that's my prerogative. But you wanted the case here it is. If you think its not "hard" enough, not good enough. Then fine don't vote for PB. I'm not holding a gun to your heads for christ sake. I simply don't like you guys saying whatever you like and ignoring that there have been posts dealing with reasoning to lynch PB.

Ichabod Wrote:I second this thought. I suspect PB, but I haven't had the time to look the thread and make my gut feeling into something more concrete.

"What is the evidence against him, apart from not defending against unspoken allegations?"

This is true. What do you have to say about this, Roland? It doesn't make any sense to lynch someone based on this.

I don't think I'll be able to vote today... Nobody presented a good case... And the time is running out...

A valid question. For me, personally, it boils down to 3 things:
1) His voting record. Day 1, a throwaway vote against novice based upon out-of-game (WW1) interactions. Day 2, he didn't vote Selrahc - a now-known 'Wolf. Neither of these are damning on their own, but they're all we have to go by, when you boil it all down.
2) His complete lack of defense. You all can call it what you will, and likewise for my response, but the bottom line is that if someone comes to you with an accusation that has no merit, you have to address it as such and counter it with logic and reason. Explain why it has no merit, and point to cases which show the opposite of what they're trying to say. Failure to do so is damning, regardless of whether you're a 'Wolf or a Villager. It looks suspicious, and it looks as though you don't care - if you don't care, you don't belong in the game to begin with.
3) The continued attempts to lynch Rowain purely because he set out on this crusade against pocketbeetle, combined with pocketbeetle narrowly escaping being lynched. These two don't necessarily go hand in hand, but neither is a very strong point on its own. Still, they're worth noting - you wanted my reasons, I'm giving them.

The first two points are the strongest to me. They're not rock-solid by any means, but short of someone standing up and shouting "I'm a 'Wolf!" they're the best I have to go on. I'm not convinced of Mr. Nice Guy's guilt, and I'm honestly not sure why anyone is voting for him, so it would be nice to hear from others as to their thoughts on him.

I must be getting to work, so I have to keep this brief, and yet I notice that I'm now in 2nd for lynch votes.

But I don't think I'll move my vote to PB. Each time I had myself convinced (in ww2) that I was voting for a wolf and then moved my vote, I moved away from a wolf (see Uberfish, Selrahc, Roland votes). I have myself pretty well convinced that JKaen is a wolf, and I just don't like the evidence out there against PB strongly enough to say gotcha! to him.

Here's the thing about JKaen's posts from the last couple days. The summaries were, more or less, helpful - but subjective, not objective. The ratings of suspicion have already been proved to be fallible once. Lynch me (a non-unique villager) and you'll see that the top half of the ratings are about as correct as random chance, at best. My concern is that we'll have wolves using those ratings as reasons to vote a villager off (:wink2: Novice). They'll get away with it, because numbers look pretty objective.

So if I wind up swinging, don't stop looking at JKaen. He's dangerous.... especially under the moonlight! (if you know what I mean)

PS Zakalwe: even though you're currently voting for me (see my above comment about hiding behind ratings), I still am finding your posts quite entertaining, and loved your verse about the tailor. After you gobble up all the villagers, will you be publishing your works as an anthology for your wolf-brothers to read? wink
You can get a look at a t-bone by looking up the bulls ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

Roland,

The question I have is how many of those reasons also apply to Rowain?

Look, I suspect PB as well, but people are acting like there could be no possibility of him being a villager, which just seems blinkered.

What I am worried about is today is mainly about the Pb vote (rowain being an anti-pb vote almost) the small exception was the votes on me, which obviously I know are foolish.

Question for everybody, if PB is a wolf, what does that tell us going intot he next day? Likewise if he is a villager. We analyse his posts and see they are all defending the bandwagon. We analyse who suspects him and find out its everybody.

Bruindane Wrote:@ Cull - I'll get to menhir carving later in the day.

This is the first time I read that Cull was unambigiously a normal villager. There was Lewwyn's post that said uberfish was a villager with no knowledge of power roles and therefore could take Cull's workboots without bias. What did I miss?

Seconding Bruindane's thoughts regarding Cull being anything but a known Villager, I offered a reasonable alternative to the 'Wolves: kill him tonight. They lose nothing, we lose nothing more than we would have otherwise, and the game continues on nicely. Now, obviously Sareln chose not to go with this idea, and that is fine - I'm not about to argue with the moderator - however, to say it was due to the objection of the 'Wolves negates my attempt at finding a reasonable compromise that doesn't hurt anyone. Either everyone glossed over that, or it was decided against. Moot point now - what's done is done - but I do find it odd the justification because of the 'Wolves. Maybe we should take this as a sign that we're on the right track, and thus they need a boost to stay in the game? wink (Kidding, of course.)

@ Rowain - suppose neither you nor pb get lynched today, will you vote for pb again tomorrow?

Hah, I was thinking the exact thing earlier today lol

Sorry I meant to add that the reason I created the MNG option for people was so we could at least get other information on the votes from today (plus I also think he is a wolf)

My reasons to vote MNG.

Day 1 result:
8v: MJW(Serdoa, Selrahc, Bobchillingworth, Mr Nice Guy, Cull, Jkaen, Irgy, Lewwyn)
7v: Cull(Meiz, Roland, Uberfish, Sandover, Mardoc, Scooter, Novice )
3v: Pocketbeetle (Rowain, Bruindane, Zakalwe )
3v: Lewwyn ( Ichabod, MJW,fire & ice)
1v: novice (Pocketbeetle)
1v: sandover ( Gold Ergo Sum)

Day 2 result:
9v: Selrahc ( Ichabod, uberfish, Irgy, Bruindane, Gold ergo sum, scooter, Roland, novice, sandover )
6v: Rowain (Pocketbeetle, Meiz, Selrahc, zakalwe, Serdoa, JKaen )
5v: Pocketbeetle ( Rowain, Lewwyn, Mardoc, Fire & Ice, Cull )
1v: novice ( Mr Nice Guy )

Mr. Nice Guy has kept his head down and was left in the dust when the bandwagon swung away from me on day 2. He placed a safe vote on MJW on day 1.
I have to run.
