quick note of my current whereabouts

Due to pretty low activity on both RBD forum and games i went a bit to have a blast in the Epicly Amazing Hard-Core Race of Awesomeness.
The adventures of my current racers can be found here and here.

In addition i joined a german hardcore ironman team named Lost Strength. It re-lives the LowRentLegion spirit once a week with top skills being level 6 skills. The team log can be found here.

Arthur: "Six by nine? 42?"

Hi smile

Hope you have fun in your new outlet(s).
The thing that prompted me to reply has more to do with your signature, as I have often wondered about Arthur playing with a scrabble bag and the fact that he pulled a question mark out of it.
Have I been handicapped all these years with the versions of scrabble bags we get here in New Zealand?

Moriah.
One drop of your blood I spill will pay for one tear you made me shed, until the ground can soak up no more

Hey Moriah! Long time not seen!

Me thinks Ford did summarize it right to the point wink

Update

While i gave up on my first racer the second one scored and managed to finish. Racer #3 is on hold due to low spare time but he'll see more action before the race ends.

Also the Lost Strength team managed to reach and start out in hell diff today. Up to now there were no deaths but critters do really hit hard now so this might change soon ..

Right before the ladder ends (and thus the race) Racer #3 finished; with a nice overall time me thinks.

Lost Strength team made it into the caverns of hell act 5 by now. My ranger did bite it back in hell act 2 by invisible charged bolts and cold novas (thx b.net *grrr*) from a double enchanted vampire lord in Arcane Santuary but I still step in if someone can't make it into the next game.

EDIT
Lost Strength team finished soon after that by besting hell baal.

The follow-up hardcore ironman team will be named Lost Power who will take off in late summer and fully re-live LowRentLegion including the lvl 1 skill limit.

Update

The Lost Power team has finally started. Full LowRentLegion rules are in place plus hardcore ironman and all aura-granting items - beside Last Wish - are off-limits. Let's see how far my MA-Zon will make it.

Curious if any groups still play Ironman tourneys?
I found Dr Zeds ClockFreeze time stamp reader/creator while cleaning up files.

It looks like "Fresh Meat Blog" is running an ironman tournament with 8 teams even as we speak. A link was posted on Lurker Lounge. They use a lot of the rule variations we discussed here years ago. Maybe dueling and ironman turn out to be the last bastions of Diablo (I) fanaticism.
