Warriors = 3k
Scouts =2k
Population points = 1k each.

I know that pop is 1k of course, but I'm stuck in BtS numbers I guess, where warriors are 1k as well

Warriors are 2k in BTS, they are 1k in the original Civ4

Oh, right. The article on demographics on civfanatics has three different versions of soldier points lists, I only checked the top one and didnt realize it was for vanilla civ 4.

I wish there was something similar for FFH2, because it's very useful.

This is the site for my second city, definitely. I could get that 2nd sheep in the SW in this city as well, but I'd have to give up the gold then, and that would probably mean giving up the gold for good because there's no way I could work the gold with a city covered in desert. If I found the city on the tile Telorast is standing on I get sheep and cow for some decent food so I can work the gold as well, then throw farms everywhere else. I would put it 1S of the scout if it didn't mean I lose the gold then.

Okay so the Hippus are basically just a vanilla civ. They have almost no "special" things to use, which is a bit boring.

No Unique Buildings except the palace which gives air mana, nature mana and horses.

One blocked building, the alchemy lab for some reason. No idea why. Means I lose some research and can't get that plague hero, but whatever. Not too big a loss.

One unique unit, but it's not really a unique unit. Instead of normal mercenaries, I get mounted mercenaries. yay. jive 5 str 3 move, 20% withdraw and can use all weapons. I can't even build them unless I build the guild of the nine world wonder though.

Hero is Magnadine, a big warhorse unit, available at, for some reason... warhorses! Gosh, who would've thunk? rolleye

That's far away though. The big thing for the Hippus is the innate horselord ability that gives +1 movement and +10% withdrawal for all horse units. A very mobile army, which is a very good thing in MP, as shown by PB in pbem1. This ability is amplified by the Hippus world spell, warcry, which gives 1 str, 1 move and blitz to all units. Each turn increases the chance of the promotion wearing off with 5%. So it can last a while if you're lucky, but you still have to time it will for maximum effect.

Being Tasunke, with aggressive and raiders, everyone will expect me to rush, I guess. I really probably should. I dunno though, i've never been much of a rusher in Civ which is weird, because the one game i've played tons of online is Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors, where rushing is very much part of every game, and I secretly laughed at people who played with no-rush rules, because that just ruined the point of the game imo. So I always rushed in that game, but in Civ 4 i'm much more hesitant to do so. Maybe it's because these PBEM games take much longer to play, so it's much more of a time investment, and it wouldn't be fun to get crippled very early on in the game. In AoC it was okay because a 1v1 game took like 20-30 mins, so when you got rushed and lost it was just okay, i'll play another game, no problem. Still sucked to lose of course, but it wasn't as big of a deal. Here it's different imo. So I dunno.

I really should though. Get to horsebackriding for horsemen or stirrups for horse archers. Horse Archers are a bit later but better. Maybe I should aim at a horse archer warcry attack somewhere in early midgame. Then lategame rely on mounted mercs or something, idk. We'll see what happens. Definitely depends on who's nearby. Trying to rush Dantski would be pointless, since he could just use his world spell.

Another important wonder for Hippus imo is the Ride of the Nine Kings. It's also available at warhorses, and gives mounted units 10 exp at creation. That is sweet. Form of the Titan is cool too of course for its 2 exp, but I need a high exp unit for that.
