I'm probably amusing the wolves and the lurkers with my stupidity.
Well, anyway. Here's what I think we should do. The wolves are probably grabing the theories that I and Roland make, since we are confirmed villagers. So I think I and Roland should just keep our mouths shut and wait for other people to throw their theories.
Lewwyn Wrote:Nice writing, thanks for the great sendoff Sareln!
I second this - very nice writeup, Sareln. Although I always cheat and scroll ahead to the role reveal first; it might be a good idea to put that in a spoiler tag, actually.
When I read the actual writeup I almost got a lump in my throat when I got to this passage:
Sareln Wrote:Lewwyn had a stunned expression on his face, his mind going to the gallows, lovingly built, expertly made.
So I was wrong about you, Lewwyn, and I fully accept my 1/6th of the blame. You really cracked me up with some of your comments earlier, particularly on "opposite day". I guess after this you can take pride not just in being wrong, but also in being wronged.
Climbing out of this hole... I think it's going to take a little luck. But to stay positive, the wolves will probably play a lot more aggressively now that they are so close to victory. So if we can outsmart them on the next lynch, we might conceivably flush them all out. (Akin to what happened with Serdoa's switch in WW2).
End of Night 7
---- As night fell, Mardoc went down into his basesement as he had done every night to fetch the wolfsbane. As he stepped down into the darkness, he heard a small cough. He froze.
"Very good, Mardoc, who would have suspected a simple glass blower as having both the skill and supplies to apply wolfsbane to thwart a werewolf. Not to mention have the presence of mind and wisdom to stay hidden for almost 7 nights. Well done, well done." The voice shifted and began to snarl: "But it ends tonight."
Mardoc turned and ran, he made it halfway up the basement stairs before the void-wolf caught him, though if you wanted to be pedantic about it, parts of him made it about 3/4 of the way up the stairs before the night was over. His screams echoing throughout the village.
When Roland went to investigate in the morning, there was a message written in Mardoc's blood at the top of the stairs:
"Nothing can save you now." ----
