RBP4 [SPOILERS] - Shaka of Zulu (sunrise089, regoarrarr, and friends)

I played Turn 91.

First of all we did get a full complement of foreign trade routes

We also founded our 6th city of Columbia.

You can see the workboat for the clams chugging along - it will net the clams next turn. There's also a worker there that will chop the hill forest SE of town for the granary. Next build will be a monument to get the gems and cows online.

So the foreign trade routes and the new city had a thumbsup effect on our demographics

The two sets of numbers are before and after founding Columbia. Where there's a 3rd set of numbers (for our value and rank), that's the number from last turn.

So yay to not being in 10th in everything! We're a healthy 9th now in food and prod.

The other thing to notice is that our time to Iron Working dropped from 7 to 6 to 4 to 3 turns now thumbsup

I believe 5. Low I know. We've got 2 more settlers in production (probably whipped on T92 and T93) and then we'll get a few more workers out

From the screenshots, it seems like your Workers are busy building roads, and ignoring resources. I think you are better off delaying the roads, especially if you will be at a 7:5 city/Worker ratio. Get those high yield tiles improved (food first, then commerce), who cares if the new cities are founded a few turns later?

All resources that are able to be hooked up are already hooked up (with the exception of the clams at Columbia that will be netted next turn and a seafood at Hamilton that has a WB being built).

There's a horse at Colerain that's waiting for borders to expand, and a cow and gems at Columbia that is also waiting for a border pop

Hmm that's a picture bug - that gold is definitely mined (it's actually been mined since about T40)
