Agreed, although it is obviously your game, so do as you see fit. Just don't expect to see the save as often as you would like.

I'll try to avoid lurking this game to be a potential sub if such a thing happens; I expect PBEM4 and 10 have reasonable chances of being done by then, and I will know by then how much free time I'll actually have.

Map-size & type : Archipelago would be nice
Barbarians - ON
Difficulty - Prince or Monarch
Speed - Quick
Tech Trade - Don't matter as long as I prefer :
CTON - Always War instead
No huts, but I may be OK with Random Events.
Civ/Leader - no idea. Could be random or restricted ones.

My timezone - GMT + 2.

You seem to have a lot of interested parties. I'm gonna remove my name from the ded-lurker list i think.

However, i would strongly urge you to consider running either two games or some people forming up into teams. You seem to have 8-9 people now? That's way too many for a PBEM, despite your claims GE. I'd advise that you either find a host and do a pitboss instead or split into two games. 6 players for a PBEM is the maximum in my eyes, but it's your game.

Sure, exact same map for both, PBEM18pro and PBEM18lul. Even better idea, match people up between pros and not-pros, give them the same starts and leaders, and see how much it ends up diverging.

If anything, it's the perfect way to see the interplay between skill, starting areas, and leader abilities.
