Well we're not supposed to tell others and form teams before hand according to the rules the evil team has to find each other. So I'd much rather wait for the full sign-up and game start before any PM activity.

Maybe we should send Selrahc a list of our 3 top choices? That way if two people want the same role Selrahc can assign the second choice to someone. Or does that matter? Could there be multiple roles? Oh... possibilities are crazy.

Q: When a Vortexer swaps the targetting, are those people made aware that their actions have been Vortexed? i.e. A Seer targets person A, it gets vortexed to Person B, do they get the role of Person B AND know they actually got the role of Person B, or is it ambiguous if they got person A or B?

Only the vortexer will know of the swap.

The seer would scan person A, get the results for person B. They wouldn't be informed of their mistake.

Their can indeed be multiple copies of the same role.
If you want to send a list of multiple roles, or just get a completely random role, tell me. I'm fine with randomizing any players role.

No, the evil team gets told the other members of the evil team. Unless we get more than half of the people playing on the evil team, in which case there will be two evil teams.

Just curious: are people allowed to communicate by PM before the game starts? If so, I imagine the scheming has already begun.

I haven't disallowed it. Although, I'm also not saying "Players, go form pre game alliances!".

Basically, I'm taking an "anything goes" approach here. Hopefully it turns out fun!

I hadn't actually considered that.

There are two scenarios. Partial overlap, and full overlap.

Assuming then:
VortexA targets (players)A and B
VortexB targets B and C

I would say that everything targeted at B affects both A and C. Everything targetted at A and C affects B.

This would mean for example, that a killer could kill two people with a single action, a seer could get two scry results, a baner could protect two people. And so on.

Assuming:
VortexA targets A and B
VortexB targets A and B

I would say that all actions would end up hitting their original target. Swapped, and swapped back.

In which priority will the different actions take place (ie killer, voider, vortexer etc )?

you know I was thinking potentially this game could be over quite quickly if we have multiple evil and good killers. Say two on each side, lynch plus all 4 kills go through could mean only 7 players left after the first day and night cycle!

Well, if we end up with 5 evil and 6 good the game will probably be over rather quickly.

It is very hard to come up with a useful PM's because you can change your role at anytime before the game starts by waiting until Selrec says to send in your role. The only player who might have a big leaning to ether side is Roland for clear reasons but he is not playing in this game yet.
