PBEM17 - Technical Issues

So apparently krill thought it would be hilarious to play the save while drunk. The problem is he pretty much got everything wrong . I asked him to replay the save according to plan, sorry about this and hope you guys understand .

Umm, wait, so which turn are we replaying. I have now been sent three versions of the 2620 BC save. From the above, I assumed that it was the turn after that which had been played incorrectly and then correctly...?

Sorry but im confused. To my understanding, Krill played a turn but you aren't happy with how he's played it so you asked if you could replay that turn before it goes any further. If whoever plays after you hasn't yet played (novice/spaceman?) then i can't really see a problem with that. Delays the game a bit but no biggie.

Now it turns out he also messed up the turn before that and you want everyone to replay all their turns to make up for that mistake? I'm probably being a dick but since when is that the norm? I often make mistakes when i play and realise after the turn has gone. Unless the mistake has been caused by an accidental misclick, in which case it's different. That's exactly how a pitboss would work in relation to reloads, no? Unsure why a PBEM would be different.

The situation is as you described in your first paragraph. I played 2680 B.C. correctly. The next (and latest) turn was 2620 B.C., and that's the one Krill played while drunk (and it was completely misplayed). So it was only the latest turn that needed replaying, not the turn before that.

Again, I apologize (on behalf of Krill!) .

P.S. I have no idea how to categorize this. We have a detailed plan out the next several turns. It could be Krill was so drunk he misclicked. It could be he was so drunk he made a mistake. We'll never know, because he literally can't remember six hours of his life. I've posted some fairly entertaining chat logs you guys will enjoy . In any case, like you I normally would not ask for a replay but under these circumstances I thought it was fair .

I'm looking at the tracker e-mail account now. I see my 2680bc save going out on April 23. The next save from our team is the "bad" 2620bc save from Krill, with the inexplicable subject line of "d/r.t23". The one after that is also from Krill with the subject line "USE THIS ONE PLEASE!", which is also from 2620bc. So Novice you should not have seen three saves from that year .
