hmm question(bug?)

i just bought civ3(again ) gold edition and when i tried to load it i got a message to insert disc 0 with data04 or something... sadly there is no disc 0, and data04 does not exist on disc 1-2... help plz

I don't know if I have the answer, but the first thing needed is a better idea of the problem.

Does you PC already have Civ3 installed? Did you have 3C3 installed.

i did have it installed, and i'm pretty much sure that its not installed right now... not sure what 3c3 is :\

Sorry - typo. I meant Did you have C3C installed?

C3C = Civ 3 Conquest

no i didnt have it instealled , i played the game like 2 years ago then left it for a while and found my disc was broken 8"( thats why i had to get new one

That's an odd problem. I don't know if anyone here has the Gold edition. Perhaps you can get more help at CFC.
