My experience with Fractals has been good, I like them. Lots of resources. As far as the map type (archi, continents, etc.), it seems to be a "potluck" type of thing. Eleven food plain tiles in my capital on one Fractal some time ago.

I had a recent game where I tanked my economy through warmongering and my entire army went on strike (ended up winning anyway!), so I feel like I have a little bit of experience to draw on for this one.

It seems that every game I play lately I end up with negative GDP. Thus, this game is custom made for me. I really look forward to how others play it too.
