Thanks for popping in, Azoth! You're probably right on the Bone Palace, although there's also the value in denying it to our foes. The real problem is that there's not really a heck of a lot we *do* want just yet, but I hate to leave stuff on the table. .

Irgy Wrote:PS Sorry about the double-turn drama. If I'd posted here then it probably wouldn't have happened, so my fault as much as yours. I do appreciate you taking more turns since I'm so limited in time now.
These things happen, particularly when we're both busy. I'm just glad it's both of us grabbing the save instead of neither, like, um, a certain Vampire player in another game . I'll be more careful to check the tracker right before playing/sending, just to be sure.

Bone Palace = Taj Mahal?
If so, i guess it would be stronger than ever on a map where grassland appears to have been replaced by plains. A lot of extra hammers.

Yes, it's the Taj with a FFHish name. Free Golden Age, culture and Engineer GPP.

And early. I often sit on it for a while in SP games.

At 400+ quick speed hammers, it's not exactly a free Golden Age.

Marble makes it worthwhile (with enough population) but it still isn't quite free.

Also gives +50% magic resistance in the city square it's built in iirc.

True - but that's almost never going to be relevant in my opinion. By the time you're fighting a defensive war at a wonder-building caliber city, you're already in for a world of hurt.

We robbed the graveyard by Jkaen this turn, and got 30 gold for our trouble .
Nothing else newsworthy, other than the turn is in fact moving again . And that *this* time I checked to be sure you hadn't played before I did and sent the save on .
I'm not entirely sure what you have in mind for our pack of Warriors out beyond the borders, so they moved more or less aimlessly.
