As regoarrarr posted last night, our game ended in a Conquest victory:



I completed a writeup for the website, which is at the usual location (http://civ4info.com/Sullla/RBMP1_4.html) It's now time to plan out our next game, so I'm going to open a new thread to do just that.

Sullla, Novgorod was an Axeman and an Archer, not that it makes much difference!

Regarding the bankruptcy award; I think the only reason that kept me afloat was the fact that my Civ was started by the AI and thus on Noble maintenance charges ... especially considering I had the Hindu Shrine in Madrid powered by Bureaucracy proping me up! Of course the fact that I had to go all the way to Beijing to find a tile which would support a worked cottage had nothing to do with it!

The Spanish obviously have an affinity for economic ruin!

I'm just surprised that Sullla didn't mention that at the end he was back in first place. Maybe he was just trying to be subtle about it :-)
