If you still need someone to replace Dreylin, I might be able to fill in. In all likelihood I wouldn't be able to play the entire session, but even if I drop right after starting, at least the AI would take over but the player wouldn't be set on Noble difficulty or whatever.

You need to download and install Hamachi. Then run the short tutorial. Then, at 8:30 EDT, log onto the "Realms Beyond" network that Ruff set up, launch Civ IV multiplayer lan. Hopefully someone will set up the game before or at 8:30 EDT.

Everyone! We will be playing a LAN based game and you need that software to get on the LAN. So, do you need to do something ... YES, install the hamachi software, contact the realms beyond network.

A few quick reminders for tomorrow (Wednesday) night:

1) Remember to meet at 8:00pm EST for the game's start. For the launching of our big game, we are going back to the regular time, and hopefully can run with that from now on.

2) For those who we were missing last week, we believe that we have finally solved our dreadful connections woes. Yes, really! Our solution was to get everyone on the same Hamachi network, then have everyone connect through Direct IP to the IP listed on Hamachi (everything else we tried was a dismal failure). For anyone who missed it last week, we should be able to talk you through any problems on Teamspeak.

3) I think we're pretty full at the moment, mbuna120, but thanks for your interest. By my count, we should have six players (Blake, Ruff, Qwack, Dreylin, and cynyck along with myself) and Speaker may be joining us as well, based on a conversation I had with him last week. I hope that if he's still interested, he'll post something in this thread to let us know about it.
