On with the turn ...
Turn 70 [200BC]
No need to whip in Dairy Cottage as the city growth didn't spark any unrest so able to balance the building of the Hindu Temple with the growth at last - will Mine the hills to give a better Hammer/Food ratio, of course the Forge will improve this no end
Queued up a Settler in Craven Cottage after the Library .. well, not much else to build except maybe a Monument.
Found an alternative site for Clapham Common:
Still has the Pigs & Stone but I trade Spices for Gems. However, this will require Iron Working to access. Which now begs the question [lurkers!] do I now tech Masonry [says 2 turns, but I calc 3] then save up for 20-ish turns to tech Iron Working in 6 turns? This does mean I can clear those pesky Jungles and Mine/Cottage more tiles.
Or, do I stick with the current plan?*
*6 more turns @ 0%; 6 turn @ 100% [Maths]; 12 turns @ 0%; 4 turns @ 100% [Sailing]; 43(!) turns @ 0%; 13 turns @ 100% [Calendar]
Of course these timings do not take into account any discounts from the other players, or any improvement in the economy [actually Rose Cottage grew @ EOT to improve G/turn to +7].
PBEM12 - Shaka of Inca [6/6*] PBEM18 (Apps) - Augustus of China [4/4*] PBEM31 - Hannibal of Greece [jnt2-4/5*] PBEM72 - Willem of Oranje - Dutch [3/4*] PBEM74A -Catherine of Babylon [4/4][*ended early]

Turn 72 [120BC]
Not a lot to report .. seriously:
- Ellen killed a Barbarian Warrior [will probably take Shock as her exp bar is full]
- Demos improving - GNP: 4th, Mfg: 3rd, Crop: 2nd
Decided .. new tech plan [timings based on 100% @ 27 beakers/turn]:
Mathematics [6] -> Masonry [2] -> Monotheism [5] -> Monarchy [11] -> Sailing [4] -> Calendar [13] -> Iron Working [6]
Of course, I need gold to run this - landing The Colossus in 3 turns will help the seafood tiles, and bring these timings down slightly - but I need to increase the happy-cap so the cities can grow.

Turn 73 [80BC]
Opened turn, and ...
Nicolae offered Open Borders ... after careful soul-searching, I decided to DECLINE. Just hope he doesn't take this as an excuse to declare war, his warrior's got a long walk home! Of course, he could just be showing off his 8 [EIGHT!] cities - looks like he's a Queen fan, so can't be all bad - maybe I should consider the lyrics of Down Down in response. Anyway, I'm bringing Kenneth back to cover in case he gets arsey

Cool, Nicolae didn't declare war .. but he hasn't moved much, oh, hang on, it's a Warrior, bless have put Kenneth on shadowing detail.
Decided that Great Lighthouse in Duracell Batt1 would be awesome [ ] so i have moved Masonry & Sailing above Maths in the tech plan [Aqueducts will have to wait] Now get 30 beakers/turn @ -23 G/turn [+7 G/turn @ 0%, the break-even point is 20% ] can complete Masonry in 2 turns , then 5 turns @ 0% to then do Sailing in 4. At least I can Quarry the Marble [ooh .. what about the Pyramids? Almost forgot about them, Representation would be good for the happy-cap] Will queue that up for chopping after the Forge completes [will chop/whip that to speed it up]
OOh .. did I just mention a ? Ummm ...
Yup, 2-pop-whipped The Colossus in Duracell Batt1, but working both seafood tiles means the city regrows in 2 turns ... erm, well ... got the wonder in early, but the city grows back into unhappiness in the same time it was going to .. ooops!
And look what also completed - weirdly it still comes out @ -23 G/turn despite 3 cities growing/regrowing and bonus commerce on 3 seafood tiles being worked

Turn 75 [1AD]
Tweaked the economy to maximise commerce & hammers again and prevent too much city growth as 4 are at happy-cap. Once Ivory is hooked up, i will allow a quick growth spurt. Demos look reasonable:
GNP: 2nd [72]; Mfg: =1st [44]; Crop 4th [47]
Currently running @ 100% tech, getting 41 beakers/turn [-23G/turn], until Masonry completes @ EOT! Will get +14G/turn @ 0% and break-even point is now 40% [on the up! ]
Shunted the workforce around to improve where's needed. Larry has been sent up north, to pick up Dale on the way to Road to Mouton D'Or & onto the Gold tile where he will Mine.
Hmm ... @ EOT it says Sailing completes in 2 turns, I have enough gold to fund that, so I'll stay @ 100% then
Oh ... and the Peace Treaty with Ioan ran out this turn; I do hope he's not hiding in the fog awaiting a repeat of his earlier shenanigans.

Turn 76 [40AD]
Only thing of note:
Forge completes in Dairy Cottage in 3 turns, have queued The Pyramids. May have Quarry up & running by then [although no bonus from Marble ] Will send all spare workers to chop it out [better with Maths, I know, but quite good bonus as Industrious anyway ] At least those pesky Forests will be removed by the time Ioan comes a-calling!

Turn 78 [120AD]
OK ... Sailing in, gone back to Maths [now takes 3 turns] and queued up Monotheism [2] & Monarchy [6]
100%: 43 beakers/turn @ -24 G/turn
B/Even: 40% @ 17 beakers/turn & -1G/turn
0%: +15G/turn
So need total of 72G for Maths, have 18 banked, so 54 needed = 4 turns @ 0%. [3 turns @ 0% to fund Monotheism & 10 turns @ 0% for Monarchy]
New Worker [EdwardHeath] built. Sent Teddy south to help chop out the Pyramids.
Just noticed 4 units [Archers] were unnamed, so step forward:
AmyLamé
OscarWilde
JaneLynch
MattLucas
Quick look @ demos:
GNP: 4th [46]
Mfg: 2nd [45]
Crop: 4th [52]
Forge completes in Dairy Cottage @ EOT & I start Pyramids next turn

Turn 79 [160AD]
First, the good news:
Ivory's now hooked up, so the happy-cap's been raised Now allowing the cities to grow again.
This has altered the tech:
0%: +16G/turn
B/E: 40% @ 0G/turn
100%: 44 beakers/turn @ -24G/turn
Now the bad news:
Ioan's back ...
... this time with a Chariot
