Save is in. I'm taking a peek but not necessarily playing it yet.
EDIT: OK, I'm going to go ahead and play.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

I can't play until tonight, so feel free to play. Let me know if you have any burning questions.
I have to run.

Nothing especially. Played turn now. Will report later this morning.

Right, time for some pictures and general storytelling. Our trireme continues to scout out Shoot's lands, but unfortunately may get stuck along the way and have to retreat.
Trading Post builds a crossbow and moves straight onto another defensive unit (I chose a longbow over a crossbow because it was a turn quicker). It's working an engineer, which I left alone - not sure if that was from growing recently or not. It's growing pretty quickly anyway.
Farmer's Market has few tiles to work at the moment so I work a scientist with its new population point. A fast worker is currently farming the forest. I start a forge build here to receive the chop. We might want to save it until we can get Confucianism here, or we could get the chop done before darrell gets frisky.
There were no obvious builds in Investment so I went for a barracks. It's got decent enough production, especially when it works those other mines, and we need more units.
I one-pop whip a longbow in Tipping Point as it is in a vulnerable spot. It was working another scientist, but will grow back soon anyway. There are three fast workers available to chain irrigate their way down here.

Right then, where was I? Oh yes, T84. Our religion spreading continues, but still plenty of work to do.
Here is a list of our cities. Yes, I founded a new city, and thought of quite a good name too! I thought I'd taken a screenshot of it, but evidently not. A worker is already chopping a forest into a granary.
I considered whipping the forge in Flooded Market, but we can do it next turn. I am in favour of doing so.
Ditto, the whip is tempting once it is two-pop whippable in Bull Market. A farm will soon be complete to help it grow back.
There's lots of saving going on. Don't they know interest rates are low!?
We could have the settler out a turn quicker working farms in Gold Rush but I left it as was. We might still be able to shave a turn off.
And finally, darrell's navy is growing steadily. Three triremes and a galley here, and two triremes in the west. We should respond with some trireme/galley builds of our own.

Not good. I don't like StM's power graph either. He could have had construction a long time and may have stocked up on catapults.

Yeah, and we can see little of Shoot's army. Let's do a round of whipping next turn then (including the market in Pyramid Scheme) and overflow into military builds (barracks or units).

I took a look at the save. Some observations:
- Shoot the Moon has a catapult in Bursa.
- Everybody is saving gold. Everybody else makes more than 100 gpt at max tax. We make 37 gpt at max tax.
- We can get Banking in 2 turns by going max science. We can't revolt until 4 turns from now, though, due to our recent switch to slavery. Maybe pick up Horseback Riding first, then, to get started on Knights.
- Maybe delay our military buildup until we do have Knights available. We can whip and research HBR next turn, and overflow to stables. Then finish off Guilds and Banking.
- Next GP due from Pyramid Scheme, about equal odds for a scientist and an engineer. A scientist could settle in Capital or build an Academy somewhere, an engineer could perhaps steal the MoM?

Yeah, did you not see my picture...

I still think we should have at least a longbow or crossbow in every city that can be attacked. Maces can be foregone for Knights for attacking invaders.
