T107 played, I'll just post one picture for now - we now have vision into Dave's one-tile island city.

Pictures from T107. Darrell triggered a golden age and became the dogpile target du jour.

I sent the settler to the filler west of Gold Rush. We also need a settler for the whale city.

Hmmm, Serfdom, interesting...

With Pacifism and Philosophical and Golden Age, it seems a waste not to take advantage of it with Caste System to go crazy on the GPP, but maybe he just didn't need it and is short of workers.

Yeah he probably has enough slots from markets, forges and libraries. Nevertheless, I accused Krill of being a hipster on chat. smile

Was that from your account? I just read the one on the joint account from last night - worth posting that one since there's some interesting strategy chat about the game?

I don't remember what we talked about in that chat, but feel free to post it. Here's the profound chat I had with Krill about serfdom:

Said chat. We're such thread spammers.

20:16 Krill: question about PBEM17

We do have an NAP, right?

me: yes

why do you ask? smile

Krill: just looking at the power graph

me: 10t cooldown

I think everybody is making everybody else slightly nervous

20:17 Shoot and Rego have the most worrying graphs, frankly

Krill: yeah

personallly, now is the time when I would want to start figuring out how to screw up teh Dutch

20:18 It's not like Frigates are far away

and their UU isn't going to be around for long

me: so what do you mean, that if one started preparing now one would have frigates in time to neutralize their UU - and could strike before steam power comes in play?

20:19 Krill: something like that

me: yeah the Taj-stealer must suffer

we'll cheer from the sidelines tongue

Krill: shrug

check out the GNP graph when you get the turn

well

demographics

graph won't have updated

20:20 me: ok

do you have executive powers over Egypt?

Krill: Darrell can't exactly stop me, so, yeah, why not call it that?

me: heh

he's in Spain or something?

20:21 Krill: yeah, he is on holiday

jammy bastard

me: well we all know you like to stir the pot when he's away smile

20:22 I dunno, ref the reputation discussion in PB4, maybe we can outplay Dave in the late game

Krill: yeah, there is that possibility

20:23 but fwiw, as big a jerks as we are...we might not actually be the worst out there

me: hm? Are you still talking pbem17 now?

Krill: oh, yeah

me: well tell me more smile

20:24 Krill: oh, just the Taj stealing. And rego stealing my wonder ideas.

but rego I don't care about

He'll screw up eventually

me: you think so?

Krill: When hasn't he?

20:25 me: well I'd like to leave it a little less of a close shave than pb1

Krill: eh

it'll be worth it for the anecdotes

me: now that you mention it it will be a nightmare for whoever launches first

if we go that route

Krill: hell yes

20:26 not something I look forward to...

20:28 aw damnit

only 996 GNP better off than second place

20:29 me: Who is that then, you?

golden age for you too?

Krill: yup

me: bureau, finally?

20:30 Krill: you say that like we've not been able to keep up in Feud

me: well, yes

20:31 At least your MFG sucked...

Krill: still does

me: so you're the dogpile target du jour then?

20:32 keeps changing, damn annoying

Krill: yup

repositioning those armies of yours must be a bitch

me: tell me about it

Krill: join us in our peaceful...no, I really can't pull that joke off, can I?

20:33 me: what do we have, 1 unit kill each or something

Krill: you got a city kill

20:34 we do have 1 unit kill though

me: yeah it was a ruse to trap our chariot
