I chatted with Dave yesterday night, he was okay with a straight up map trade, so you can offer that in-game.

Too late. We can do it next turn... =)
We did sort out our financial debt, however.
A Great Scientist was born somewhere last turn. Here are some shots of our home lands. North:

A number of techs researched, I think.
Darrell got Astro, Dave got Guilds, Rego got Printing Press and Shoot got Theology.

Right. We're going Engineering->Chemistry->Sci Meth->Biology, I presume?
With an eye to divert to Nationalism and Rifling if we get hostile vibes.
If any of the techs on our tech path take more than one turn (I imagine Sci Meth and Biology will, at least) we should sneak in Meditation and possibly Philosophy, to collect overflow and have a shorter response time if we need to divert to Nationalism.

Heh, not sure where we left it. Definitely Engineering, which is a one-turn tech so if it's still available we can grab Notre Dame in two turns.
If we're going that route, do we want to go for the Physics Great Scientist before Biology?

We want physics too of course. Hopefully noone follows us to Sci Meth, and we can grab Biology first without fear of losing Physics. We also want Communism... I doubt we can grab all those first though.

Right, T110 in the books and things are getting interesting. Darrell completed Astronomy last turn and Scientific Method this turn, so presumably he will pick up both Communism and Physics before us. Rego researched engineering, as did we this turn. Next turn we'll rush Notre Dame unless Rego does it this turn.
We also traded maps with Dave, so now we have a full world map. Hence, I upgraded a galley to a galleon to try and grab a 3 seafood island in the middle of the ocean. Dave will probably beat us since he has scouted it already, but we have at least two fallback locations.

Forgot to mention that Shoot spawned a great merchant in Istanbul.

One thing to consider is to hold on to the great engineer and try to secure the Kremlin. That is a very strong wonder, and Darrell will likely get to Communism before us.
Our next great person will come from Trading Post in 7 turns and has a ~25% chance of being a great engineer.
I have to run.
