selrahc founded viel, which messes up my idea for now. will have to switch to more sensible techs now and come up with some other grand plan for catching up

lol, got my butt kicked in that race. I guess viel must have been formed a while back but I didnt notice. Difficult to bring what passes for my A game to this with me trailing so badly.

Right need some new cunning plan to achieve victory now but at a loss what I can pull off, with this map getting a large range of mana nodes is going to be near impossible

Ok, have no cunning plan. Still playing ahead, settler (my first!) due in some turns.

Hybie is just to my SW, so I should be munched pretty fast, no way I can come up with any decent defense in time

Well, just settled my second city!

Something tells me I am not the first to 2 cities

Still alive, currently building my 3rd adept, and working away in my little empire waiting to get rolled.

Decided I need some mini targets to keep some interest in the game, so will set my first target as:

Get a mage

I currently have a 12xp adept, but haven't learnt any of the magic paths or obviously unlocked mages.

Will post screenshots next time I get the game showing tech path to let you take your bets if I will succeed.

Other min challenges may be:
Get to 10 slaves (at 4 atm)
Defeat a unit from an enemy player
Meet all players / circumnavigate (would need a very brave adept, but may be doable)

Well up to 3 adepts now.

Mr Explorer has just left my borders heading east
Mr Mage is now up to 11 XP and just awaiting tech
Mr Suicide is going to try and dodge the barb city to the south of me and pop that dungeon that I first tried to pop about T4

My last floating eye scouting trip showed a couple of hybie stacks wandering nearby, so my days may well be numbered (still cant see the big guy himself though)
