[Spoilers] Peace and Purity - Einion Logos of the Elohim

Well, war is declared. Firstly the message:

Quote:Hi Thoth

It's come to my attention that you have broken one of the clauses of our NAP. Specifically, the confidentiality clause when you told Mardoc that:

"My current agreements preclude me from owning the world before turn 210"

This was a clear reference to our NAP, despite that fact that it was supposed to be confidential. As such, I consider our NAP void and therefore was free to declare war on you this turn.

See you on the battlefield,
WarriorKnight

Not exactly friendly, but I can't really say we've been friendly with each other in the first place. Oh well.

Anyway, here's the outcome so far:

Traded 6 pop I think for 2 border cities containing 20 pop. Wish I could keep those two for the chance to hit more cities but I wouldn't be able to hold them. Might be able to reach Golden Hut from Ballinasloe if I spring one of those desert tiles, but I don't have any in range this turn unfortunately.

My biggest concern is that he will probably send some units from the elven war over to Dis, and without OO units and only a couple of ships I'm not sure I can hold onto that against water walking units. Might have to rush buy a couple of ships in that case.

Well that didn't go so well:

Despite not seeing anything within hawk range last turn, 2 assassins managed to sneak in and kill my EoD. I can't say how much that sucks, I could've made a couple more Fire Elementals to ensure that he couldn't get within range but I guess I wasn't careful enough and assumed he didn't have anything nearby.

Without that, I'm not really sure how I'll be able to defend against Thoth once his army finishes Mardoc off and sends it my way. I just don't have the production or the army to compete.

This makes me laugh. I wanted to make the same suggestion to you at some point, but never did. And neither did you, so it never happened. Well, who knows how differently things could have been. Me actually being able to stick around would have made a big difference too...

Good luck in the end game, I'm going for you anyway. Technically you wiped us out, but if Heisenburg really did hit your caravel with his privateer he deserved it anyway.

You may be slightly disappointed...

Nox Noctis.

Nothing penetrates it's invisibility.

Not Hawks, not Floating Eyes, not Revelation.

I had ~8 mages within striking range of your borders (not including the forces in the Remnants city) plus a handfull of Rathas and Radiant Guars plus enough Ritualist support to be able to write off the two that RoFed your EoD.

Even with your NAP-stab you didn't have a chance. When the game ended I had close to 30 Mages and the ability to build and upgrade another 5-6 per turn.

Once my leftover troops from the Mardoc campaign arrived, it was only a matter of time. (never mind the fact that I was going to burn Dis to the ground in 2 or 3 turns, which would have given you some interesting WW to deal with)

If you'd really wanted to win the game you should have NAP-stabbed me on turn 170 and divvied up my lands with Mardoc.

Oh that would explain it. Forgot you captured that from Mardoc.

Capturing it was the turning point in the war vs Mardoc.

It's obscenely OP and has no counter. frown
