I really wish you could do a 1-week -> 2-week playoff, but if you can't I'll lump my vote in for unbalanced 12 week regular seasons and a post-season that ends in week 16. I'm a Colts fan and I know their starters will be on the bench if they lock up their playoff spot and home field.

Of course not a deal breaker and I don't know how much of a democracy you want to make this, but if you're counting votes...

I'm going to let others chime in on this one. I'll go with whatever seems to be the general preference. Also going to look through the settings thoroughly to see if there's anything I've missed as an alternative.

Edit: To clarify, sunrise's suggestion IS doable - 12 games, 13-14 round 1, 15-16 round 2. Only issue is there's one team you won't get to play against, and the regular season is 1 game shorter.

-playoff games are one week apiece
-6 teams make playoffs, and the division winners get 1st round byes

Good here is that we keep balanced schedule, end on Week16 (rather than 17), and division winners get rewarded. Bad here is that byes are sorta boring, and no 2-week playoff games.

I like both the 6-team playoff with byes and a 12 week regular season over playing week 17. I have a slight preference for the unbalanced season because byes are boring but whatever.

I'm also a Colts fan and seeing Peyton sit every week 17 for the past 10 years has given me a kinda warped perspective on this.

I'm fine with anything, but I prefer the bye week for division champs if we don't do the standard 2 weeks for playoff games and 13 game schedule, I think it's better to have everyone play everyone.

There was a lack of a consensus, so I'm going to go with a balanced schedule, 6 in playoffs, and first round byes for division winners unless there's strong objections in the next 24 hours or so. Remember, draft is tomorrow at 11pm est, which is 24 1/2 hours from right now.

Don't forget to rank your players if you want btw. If you have Internet issues or suddenly disappear, it's nice to have preferences for the autopick to fall back on.
