I might have done something stupid
moving my warriors west from innsmouth to the capital, turns out there are three warriors and two savants in the capital. I have a shock and combat 2 axe wielding warrior plus another warrior just right of the cap, didnt think there would be so many units in the city. I have four more warriors 1-2 turns to the east but i'll have to rely on the AI not doing anything for my two warriors to survive

things are going bad
I'm playing very sloppily at home, should be managing my eco and techs much better but im just doing whatever comes to my mind, not really focusing.
Anyways, in the west there are four warriors and two savants in the Lanun cap. Yeah... I don't think Selrahc kept to his promise of vacating his cities of units. There's no way he could've built 4 warriors and 2 savants in 10 turns with almost no hammers (his cities are surrounded by ice and water). Just makes me feel even better for the time when i will not give him manes.

What is difficulty level? Especially Deity AI gets quite a few bonuses.

It's the AI, I can believe it. Pirate ports give some hammers too

i have stagnated into nothingness
my attack on the now ai controlled lanun has been completely repulsed. I havent lost any units, but since I assumed the cities would be empty or at least 2-3 defenders per city I only had like 5-6 warriors to attack with, and there's like 8 defending units in the capital right now, i can only get decent odds on one defender a turn, so this is meaningless. I should just stop the attack and withdraw but i dont feel like taking that decision right now, it's much easier just standing around doing nothing. My captured city is awful without taking the capital anyways. If I stop the attack I should give it away for free to the AI if possible, because its only a waste of eco without help from its neighboring cities.
i am doing nothing in my own lands, building farms for the new southern city Omtose Phelack, roading here and there, bla bla. Researching KotE so i can spring sometime in the future, 2 turns left or something. Then sanitation I guess.

Okay, early warning but I'm going to Uganda the 16th november, returning 11th december. Absolutely no Civ 4 access.
So Ellimist, up for playing my turns?
I'll give you a carte blanche, you can do whatever you want, no plan you need to follow (mostly because I don't have one)
