Summary - you don't want to be Arabia's friend

And before T-Hawk posts and tells me that I could have won by Domination about 3 centuries quicker - I know, but game was aiming for space. And it wouldn't have mattered because his game would have been over 2 centuries faster than my fastest time anyway!
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Oh, don't worry about those guys who get OCC conquest victories in 200AD. We true connoisseurs know that it's much more fun to drag out victory for a few hundred years. Give the AI's a taste of victory, and then snatch it away. lol

Fast early expansion, religions, delayed war, tech to stay ahead.
I wiped out Lizzy and Hatty had one city left (she got there by sea), and I got to the TajM (first Golden Age) by about 1500AD, but time ran out (business trip), on the playing and the reporting side ... Maybe I'll finish it this week. But it's been fun! Thanks.

Good Game there Ruff! Another thing to note, you managed to get Spain into the game too! wink.

I get those hovercraft attacks sometimes too. I also get these crazy running attacks where the unit just runs from onside to the other never fighting huh. It does not really matter though.

The graphs of GNP and Crop yield is the AI shifting Civ wide between commerce oriented tiles and food/hammer oriented tiles (just a guess though).

Yes - that is my thinking as well - but why? Is it reaching the end of a tech and doing a CIV3 shuffle?

I didn't have time yet to read the reports, but I did look through them. I now understand why everyone is always so excited about reporting day as I was (and still am) very excited to see how other players handled the game lol

I have my own report written, but I still need to edit and upload the pictures. I hope to be able to get something up on atspace tomorrow, otherwise I'll just put it in a thread here.
