Injera Wrote:Well, I started to write a longish post but then noticed posts kept flying in and shelved it for now. I just want to say one thing really quickly: I don't think a double wolf vote would be a bad result for the village. Even if it causes a mislynch, it gives us credible information on the double wolf's identity, information which will only get stronger as more people drop out. It could also potentially tie the wolves' hands down the road ("we can't attack this villager because he's only one of 3 people left who could be the double voter...", "I can't double vote here because none of the people I double voted with before are on this candidate," e.g.)
Again, that assumes that we get that information and I didn't get the feeling that this is the case. But more importantly, a mislynch gets us to 8 villagers / 4 wolfs. Leaving 2 mislynches left or two days, before we have lost. So I disagree that the information (if we even get it) on the double-voter would be worth a mislynch. We just don't have enough time to sort through that.

Believe me, I know how suspicious logging in for the first time all day and making the lynch vote closer with less than an hour to go.
I was considering just staying away but silence would incriminate me just as much and its worth me making at least some effort to help out how I can.
Erebus grows fangs and I've set myself up for even more suspicion, I'm prepared to take that chance as I just have a gut feeling on him and with not as much time invested in the game as I'd hoped, gut feelings are the best way for me to go.

It makes more sense that he's a Villager and the 'Wolves are using him as a landslide (much like yesterday with uberfish) to hide in. I actually agree with Catwalk here - I'd expect if he was a 'Wolf there would be more attempts to save him, even earlier in the day.
Today's "preferred" candidate vote was started once again by zakalwe, which actually lessens my suspicion on him personally but gives me a sinking feeling we might be getting played again.

Well, on the opposite TT, if Erebus is innocent, I will get my fair share for sure Nothing one can do. And tbh if Erebus is not a wolf, I am pretty sure on who the wolves are but also that we won't catch them before it is too late. No interest in starting to type that out now (it is too late and I am tired) but I'll get to it before the night is over.

Oh, and might I ask how long you know Erebus Roland? Because I played with him one game and I don't expect me to know him well enough to be able to say that I think he is not good enough a liar for what he pulled here.
I don't know Erebus from a hole in the wall, but I can sense emotion, so either he's a brilliant liar or he's being honest about his feelings. We saw how he acted earlier when he got caught in a precarious position. His responses there didn't lead me to believe he's a strong liar - quite the opposite, he reminded me of myself: someone who folds under pressure if they're caught in a lie.
You want the biggest signal for me? This whole thing reeks of the same BS that happened with uberfish yesterday. I'm trying to play this based on my gut instincts, since in the past I've been dead terrible about actually sniffing out 'Wolves, so excuse me for wanting to try something different. Look, I know it looks like I have tunnel vision here (maybe I do), but it's just a hunch. It's nothing solid, it's nothing analytical or logical or easily explained. I'm not asking you to like it, understand it, or even follow it. It's just what I feel. It's pure emotion, and that's something I have a great deal of (as I'm sure you'll all agree).

Well, Erebus is on scooter right? Meiz as well. That makes two. If you switch from catwalk and I from Erebus it makes it 6 on Erebus, 3 on catwalk and 4 on scooter. Maybe Injera want to change as well? And Gaspar?
I mean I am pretty sure scooter is guilty anyway, so I don't mind voting for him.

Well, I think towards the end game it would be almost impossible for the double vote wolf to hide if he used the ability this early on. Not a guaranteed wolf catch, but I think it would more than likely result in one, making it worth an extra day in the majority of cases. Nothing to worry too much about.
We'll always get the information when it was used, assuming it made a difference, since we can compare the voting with the actual lynch results. e.g., if it changes the outcome of a two-way lynch we'll know for certain one of the #2 voters is the wolf.
