Werewolf 7 game thread

scooter, I give you as much that we are indeed off in our assumptions. And I still think you are a wolf. But that is irrelevant because if we look at todays tally and who switched late and tried to save Erebus and put them in our innocent camp, the people who remain are all guys I know I can't get anyone of you to vote for. Well, except for you maybe, but I am not even sure about that.

I'll predict the first flawless wolf-victory at RB - and not because of the setup but because of the wolves.

Catwalk Wrote:I was going to point fingers at TT, but notice that he also joined the switch for scooter. That moves him towards the innocent camp IMO.

Just because Erebus was a villager doesn't mean scooter is a wolf. If scooter's innocent a wolf TT could show up and just follow the noisiest villagers at the time, staying safe in the crowd while knowing a mislynch is assured either way.

The interesting question to me is why "Erebus is a trap vote" bandwagon moved so dramatically on to Scooter rather than the second ranked target Catwalk.

That's enough night talk for me, though. Time to lock the doors and pray. smile

I find it unlikely that we managed to put 3 villagers on the block. I will be pushing for scooter to hang tomorrow, unless anyone has a better theory. If there are calls for me to hang, I'll do what I can to defend myself.

I think most of this conversation is best served for tomorrow - not because I think that we should be quiet during the night but rather because I think what happens this night should give us good insight into what really happened today.

And I don't think it necessary to be so emo, Serdoa. I'm a disappointed that we've not yet nailed a wolf but I think it gets easier as time goes on. So long as we can get a hit the next day period I think we're fine.

And as I said, sorry Erebus. If you had switched personas earlier I might have lent it more credence. And while I see why some of you switched to scooter, I find late bandwagons like that even more scary, as if wolves were waiting for a confirmed innocent - Serdoa in this case - to bounce to a preferred target. I doubt that's the case given Erebus' innocence, but I'm not certain all our wolves are on Erebus either. I for one left my vote there because he's the first person this game I felt fairly certain about their guilt. My mistake.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

I agree with Gaspar. At the moment I don't really feel like any ground-breaking insights would follow me to my grave, so I probably won't comment anymore tonight.

I think it would be quite foolish to assume this.

Not on those grounds alone Meiz. But I think it is telling. I think it is even more telling if you look who was online and decided not to even participate in this discussion. I don't expect a villager to stay quiet in such a situation, especially not zak. Thats all I have to say on this topic for now. I'll comment more before the end of the night.

Well let me say this. If scooter is a wolf and if TT is a wolf, then Zakalwe will get really high on my suspects list. Just because I've listed him in the innocent group doesn't mean I'm putting blinders on his actions. The lists are based on that moments feelings and are changing all the time as the game progresses. I think we are far from defeated.

Rereading, I came across one post that I made a note of earlier but forgot to bring up. It's relevant because Catwalk seems to be drawing some suspicion. I don't think he would be targeted by the wolves at this point, so I see no harm in posting this now, in his defense.

Here is the post I'm talking about; Roland made a fairly incoherent/overly verbose post (at least I remember thinking so myself, and being tempted to just skim over it), and Catwalk actually broke it down into bullet points, trying to decode what exactly he was saying.

This reminds me of last game, where I correctly pegged Catwalk and Erebus as villagers based on their willingness to engage in what seemed like physically painful discussions about Fibonacci numbers (or something). Decoding that post by Roland seems like equally painful work to me, and not something a wolf would bother doing. It looks a lot more like a villager who is actually working hard to make sense of things.

My problem with Scooter was that I saw it as a very likely scenario that both Erebus and Scooter were wolves. Thus, some of my suspicions towards Scooter were predicated on Erebus being a wolf, and it felt wiser to lynch Erebus first. The only really plausible explanation I could see for why Erebus would be so set on lynching Scooter rather than Catwalk was a desire to grant cover to Scooter. I was watching with interest but I didn't really want to influence the situation one way or the other, so I kept quiet.
