No, I scored 22 and 26, I had 21 and 34 against me.

Ah, right, sorry. smoke

Well, that's going to be a close one. 18 points isn't crazy.

Yeah - pretty much everyone outside of Rodgers and Welker crapped the bed for me. And 26 points from the frigging TE. I knew I should have trusted FitzMagic over Andy Dalton.

I couldn't care less if I lose this game though, the Bills haven't beaten the Pats since I was still getting laid regularly, so anything else that goes on in the football world positively for me is gravy. wink
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Kuro Wrote:Also, I just wanna again point out how the Flacco thing was such a bad idea. 27 points from Flacco today and he had a 20 point day before. All for a backup you'll have to dump in 2 weeks or so.

Thanks for sharing your opinion on that.

Look, if Romo is healthy I'm pretty much starting him over Flacco any week. Having Kitna available lets me play for upside this week, and when you're 0-2 (if you think you deserve that) then you need to play for upside. Yes I could have gambled even more and just figured I'd run no QB and essentially forfeit if Romo ends up not starting, but obviously to me the expected value of (X% Romo start + Y% Kitna start) is higher than Flacco's. If Romo goes down for the season I'll either use my still-top waiver pick to just re-grab Flacco or pick one of the many other mediocre fantasy QBs.

Some QBs Flacco is tied with/behind after this week: E. Manning, Sanchez, Henne, Romo if he makes 15 points tomorow, Rogers, Fitzpatrick, Stafford, Brees, Newton, Brady. So he's the 9th-11th best QB and his next two weeks are vs the Jets and then his bye.

Honestly, I think even if Romo starts he will be either knocked our due to his injury or largely ineffective. So yeah.

I guess we'll see. He certainly might. He also might not get hit much, or he might get hurt and still play like last week. I'll take my chances and I understand if you would make a different call. My only issue is that you're raising the issue after seeing what Flacco did this week. It's one thing to out-guess the consensus (and ESPN and NFL.com both have Romo > Flacco this week) but it's another to make claims once the info is already in.

Example: Ha! I knew Branch would have a poor game for NE this week wink

I mentioned I thought it was a puzzling move before any games were played today, in my predictions for how each team would finish. As I said, "again" in that sentence. It was a followup of...

"That's a ridiculous number for a team that's facing a Romo that could be easily knocked out(Who for some reason dumped consistant if unspectacular backup option Joe Flacco instead of starting him like I would of done)".

I think I may have won the lowest scoring game.

Your scores combined barely reached or are lower than some single team's score. So welp.

GG Kuro, at least this time it went down to the wire. I needed about 2 of those FGs to be TDs to Witten wink
